I think I know what you mean about the green paint. It does look slightly more mint than sage from certain angles. It may become warmer over time though. The coving and panelling looks stunning ❤

Your shopping inspired me to start my own decorating. A little late I know! One word of caution: Careful with those pillar candles. They can burn very high flames once they get going. One year I left one burning in my bathroom for a party and it went so high it set the wall on fire. We nearly burned the house down. Especially grouping them they can do unexpected things, so please please please keep an eye on them and don't leave them unattended.

LOVE the green. If you aren't sure about the color i think wait until Spring/Summer and you might change your mind. It's so refreshing and lovely and fits those seasons a little more.

I so we what agree....have a very similar color in my house.....and in the front where sun comes in, it is perfect. But the darker rooms had to be repainted. I swear to gosh paint has to be the most difficult decision!😀😖😣😀

I think either a slightly warmer/darker/richer green like a more forest green tone or a completely different colour completely! I would just sit with it for a while and see what you think. I love the colour of the living room! It's the perfect mix of kind of 'feature' colour but also neutral enough to be relaxing. So excited for your vlogmas! oh and I totally agree with you regarding the White Co. winter candle. It's the ultimate Christmas scent. I wonder if you would prefer the colour if you had the crisp contrast of white coving, and white satin woodwork (doors and skirting boards, maybe even your new cupboard/bookcases) against it? That might be my own preference though as I went for that classic look over the colour drenching! Something to consider anyway 😊

I LOVE the paint color! But green is so tricky I feel you - recently painted my bathroom green and the first color I chose I hated so much. Hubby was against it but I went ahead and repainted the whole bathroom and I’m so glad I did. But I love the color you picked

I love the green! If you are feeling its not warm enough it would probably help if you switched out the shiny chrome hardware (door handles and light switches) for dark bronze/brass. Yesterhome do gorgeous ones and its not difficult to change them xx

I was soooo happy when I opened KZbin and saw this video's on!! 😁😍🥰 You've made an amazing job with the living room, it definitely has character with the panelling. If I were you I'd probably have kept the white walls with the pine-coloured wooden details, or went for a creamy/light beige colour for the walls and deeper brown colour for the wooden panels. As the whole room is quite big in depth it does not get a ton of light so I'd be careful with the colours I put all over the room - although this green IS beautiful, I understand your concerns. But I also think that with all the lights and christams decor on, it'll look very cosy and beautiful so just don't worry about it now. 🥰

Hi Ellen. I absolutely love what you've done with the living room. The panelling, coving and shelves/cupboards are fantastic and once you've found the right colour it's going to be the room you want it to be. I know that when you've just finished painting a room the last thing in the world you want to do is repaint it but I do think that if it was the right colour for you then you would just 'know'. Just as a sidenote, if you really can't face repainting the whole room maybe just reinstate the white on the doors.

Loveee the panelling and Christmas decorations. I would sit with the green for a while and then if you still aren’t keen on 6 months change it up. Also be careful the candles don’t tarnish the paintwork, I’ve learnt from experience 🤦🏻‍♀️

I love the colour, just take some time and maybe adjust your soft furnishing to soften/warm up the room. Perhaps the colour drenching is part of your reservation? Maybe white or cream on the coving and skirting etc could make it less overwhelming for you? Also paint does get progressively darker as it settles/ages so perhaps it's better to start bright for longevity. Just some thoughts you didn't ask for 😂

Mentioning and showing items, bought from many different shops, it wld be good to mention shops they are from as you are showing one at the time. If only local to you find links for similar. Description box is so bare and being full time vloger means you shld have time to do that as via those links you can pursue retailers for affiliate links of you can show sales you help take place, I guess.
