I had a really difficult therapy session earlier today and hearing your thoughts about choosing peace and accepting the things that cannot be changed was so comforting to me, Dish. Thank you for that. I don't know if you'll see this but in response to your fear of family passing away, that was one of my greatest fears too, until my dad passed away just over two years ago. I miss him terribly but I find a lot of warmth and joy and comfort in the little things that remind me of him. It's also really changed the way I think about death. It's not as scary as I thought it would be. I hope you have a joyful Christmas season, looking forward to more vlogs

Genuinely such a cozy video as well, be it your insight, the prepping/planning, to how it makes you feel, the process itself (cooking etc) It's definitely hard (coming from a chef) to time everything exactly perfectly, specially for occasions like Thanksgiving, Christmas etc - time management is so important, cleaning up etc as well - so definitely do not be hard on yourself in that regard! i definitely can feel what you mean about realizing you've grown purely based on how you react in the moment. I've noticed the same for myself at times, where in the past i would be frustrated and take my frustration out on others but recently i instead have been able to more calmly express what i'm struggling with or experiencing in that moment. you should definitely be proud of yourself!
