You are a trooper for continuing to vlog when melting. ❤️ the hallway filled with art! It is as it should be, having a succession of detailed smaller scale items perfect for closer perusal at eye level. Scale is so important it helps so much with ambience and putting us at ease. Today I ventured out and was stunned to get a compliment from a very well dressed young man who appeared from behind and as he overtook me he observed’ you are dressed impeccably’. It really made my day. It’s so easy to give a compliment and it’s free. I live in a creative area with the highest concentration of artists in Australia. It’s so good sometimes. 😍 Enjoying the Vlogmas it’s so thoughtful and considered.

Hi Deborah, our whole house is full of art. To me a house isn't a home unless the walls convey a message about the people who live in it, or who have lived in it. That was a lovely compliment. I always make it my mission whenever we go out to make at least one person smile. There are a lot of artists living further down the coast from us. One of the paintings that hasn't been in any of our videos is the ocean painted on Belgian linen by a local artist Naomi Ullmann. I get lost in the water, it's so beautiful... It's good to live amongst like minded people 💖

Hi Mary, The sunnies are awesome but the camera angle is a bit odd, I think the proportions are better when looking straight at something. However, we'll figure it out and we're both very impressed with them. Air con day tomorrow just in time for another heatwave 🌞

Your videos are the only thing bringing me cheer this season. Thanks for keeping us company. As a Texan I hear the desperation in your voice we have months of 100 F plus weather with high humidity. Air conditioning is an everyday necessity. I hope you lavish in the cool breeze fair warning though remember it will raise your utilities bill but is worth every penny. I loved your halloween video you have a way with words or as my friend used to say gift of gab! It's fabulous hearing you waffle on as you say.

Thank you Chris. We had air con in our previous house but this house is well over 100 years old and has double brick cavity walls so it doesn't heat up as quickly as new builds. However, global warming is raising temps here considerably and even this old house can't keep it out. Energy costs are very high here but we finally caved and it's being installed tomorrow! I'm pleased you liked the Halloween video, I enjoyed resurrecting my acting skills 😅
