Such a lovely surprise for River, nice and easy when you can pop along on the train. We took our daughter when she was 6 and left the 1 year old boy at home and she loved it. We went in March, stayed in the lodge hotel and it snowed, was cold but beautiful. Sorry to hear about your pup, looks like he had a wonderful life having those beautiful gardens to run around. Xx

We went to Disneyland Paris at Christmas 7 years in a row when I was a child. It was honestly my favourite thing ever. I’m 31 now and still have the best memories from it

Gorgeous hotel and what a suite!!! I got upgraded at Claridge's once and had the top suite with the balconies!! My American cousin was so annoyed. River looked gorgeous in her tiered dress and collar and flowing hair. My granddaughter is 8yrs old and I see a resemblance in looks and behaviour.

ooooh no. So sorry about treacle. She was adorable! Lost my dog aka best friend about 4 years ago and its still hard for me. On a happier note, I'm from the USA (NJ to be exact) andI went to Disneyland Paris for my honeymoon in December 2019 and it was AMAZING. This is coming from someone who isn't the biggest fan of Disney either.

And some Neighbors went just before Christmas got absolutely washed out😮. So hard to just to know how it will be qua a weather . What a special adventure. I found myself smiling throughout--you two are lucky to have each other. If you're ever able, I do highly recommend visiting Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando during Halloween time--it is incredibly charming and magical as well. (And my sincerest condolences on Treacle. I took my children to Disneyland Paris when they were small and it was a ferry journey then - 4hrs and 45 mins and eldest was seasick but we drove to Disneyland. Unfortunately my grumpy ex husband wanted to video us and we could not relax. Despite we have lots of photos and children made the most. Magical but didn't do the big rides and loved parades. We went in the summer so lot warmer.

Hi we did Christmas in Orlando when my daughter was younger. It was an amazing time. You and River looked like you had a fantastic time. Orlando is somewhere to think about when Enzo is about 6 and River is 12, you will love it, the lights alone make it all worth the trip, stay at Disney for a week then Universal for a week, you get early admission to the parks and fast passes. HP world has greatly extended now over two parks and new parks will be open perhaps by then. Sorry if I sound a bit forward, we only got back from Orlando end of November, and itching to go back again, hugz xxxxx

Yes, we would love to do that and I agree with the timing… I think maybe when enzo is 5/6 and river is 9/10 would be ideal - definitely couldn’t handle 2 weeks though… I think 4/5 days would be my max for theme parks TBH 🫣
