@@georgie6999 I think the difference is that usually to make a fur coat or something like that, the animals are killed exclusively for vanity and basically only the fur is used and the rest of the dead animal is just thrown away. With leather it's kind of like the skin of a cow for example is a product you have anyways since people are gonna eat meat anyways so at least all of the animal is used for a "good" purpose instead of just for vanity. Hope that makes sense lol

Stale Milo when animals are used for fur, they are often miss treated while they are living and they will use hash chemicals to get the fur they want and then throw away everything else when they do remove the fur. I am also bothered by the miss treatment of animals that r used for food as well. But if u buy local meats u can see there is no miss treatment but with fur there is little regulations on animals treatments that r actually enforced.

What is people's problem with fur? Every person I know owns at least a real leather item (belts, bags, shoes) but still people only complain about FUR. So ridicolous. People can do whatever they want with their lives, if she wants a fur jacket let her live.

Everyone has their own opinion, and I respect that. We can not make her change her mind about something, those are her decisions. All we can do is just give her an advice as a stranger that wants the best for everyone. So here is my advice for you Kelsey, I really hope you read this. I understand you love fashion, and you are really passionate about it. Fur unfortunately is a big part of the fashion industry. Just thing every time you use one of those expensive coats, that behind that 'beautiful' piece, there's a life that was taken for superficial porpuses. If you really think about it, it's not fair. You have a lot of faith in God, I'm not. But you, ESPECIALLY YOU, should think of what he has created and have respect for every single kind of life. I hope you think about this and be consequent with your beliefs.
