So proud of you Sarah, well done, you’ve achieved so much. Pleased the noisy storm has passed, it’s so quiet now! We’ve had trees down, roads flooded and high fords. X💕

Hi Barbara. Hope you are ok after the storm. I’m not aware of any local damage but not been out much. Back to work today so will see on my journey. Thanks for your positivity 😊

What a very wintery day you have there. No one would want to go out in that & run! Well done that you did your run anyway & felt so good when it was finished. Christmas trees looked very pretty. Cheers, see you tomorrow Sarah, 💕👏😍🤗🥰❤️

Congrats on getting so much done today, and on persevering with your running program. It is amazing how quickly your body has responded and yes our minds/self talk, is often our worst enemy. Great too that you got 2 trees up 🎄👍👍. Hope you have a good work week. See you next week.

Well done for doing your run. For the last couple of years i have been doing little walks of 1km on a circuit where i live . I try and do three a day and only miss if its very icy or extremely windy as the route passed under some big old trees. It definitely makes me feel better to get out in nature and the rhythm of walking definitely helps my stress levels. Lovely to see your trees up. I got mine up on Saturday and I love the cosy glow

Hi Elaine. What a great idea to get out for shorter walks throughout the day. I have so many days spent at a computer 😊

You are such an inspiration Sarah! I have arthritis that has really slowed me downed and been discouraging. But a few months ago I started going to a heated therapy pool to exercise and it’s been very helpful. Some days it’s really hard to make myself go, but like you said… I’m glad when I do. Keep up the good work. DJ

Sarah, I ordered a floor stand that accommodates both my Kindle and iPad for about $35 USD from Amazon and it’s a game changer. You set it up in front of your treadmill (I would put a folded up towel or pillow on the floor underneath it just in case the vibration of running worked your device loose) and watch KZbin to your heart’s content or read a book on your Kindle. If using a Kindle, you really need a remote page turner (about $15). This is something I didn’t think I needed until I got one. Now I love it.

Well done on continuing with your exercise. I've found whenever I tried running on a treadmill I didn't feel as safe as when I ran outside. I felt I didn't have as much control on a treadmill as I did when I'm outside. When the weather's bad I do You Tube exercise videos. I did yoga for many years until my teacher stopped running the class. I've been trying to find another class but there's none in my immediate local area, there's some in another town but I'm on public transport and I don't think it would be practical to travel for over an hour to a class. I might have to stick with online yoga classes for now. I do walk and have my own set of dumbbells which I use whilst I'm waiting for the kettle to boil. ❤❤💕💕

Hi Sarah. Well done on filming your 50th podcast (I look forward to watching it) and on keeping up with your running - 25 minutes is an awesome achievement 👏. I wish I could run (my husband does) but unfortunately I can't run or go for a walk due to severe exercise intolerance from chronic fatigue syndrome. But I can manage a bit of gentle yoga, pilates and light hand weights every 2/3 days. I've recently got myself an elliptical pedal exerciser to see if I can sneak a bit of that in too - I'm up to a gentle 11 mins 3 times a week. It's a start. Will watch your book club 📚❤

You need a large pastoral picture to hang up and look at while on the treadmill so you can imagine your running through some nice fields or something.

@yarnmugspodcast91234 күн бұрын
Hi Laura. I use 40g porridge oats and 200ml of milk per person. Also sprinkle some sultanas. I cook in the microwave for 3 mins. Then stir and do one minute bursts till I get the consistency I like. Enjoy 😊
