I'm from the South East, of the UK, I was a very fussy eater as a child, my mother never made me eat anything that I didn't want to, my mother was so patient and understanding with me on this, I'm the same with my children, being a mother is full on, and trying to figure out what meals to make, what foods to buy, what foods your child/children will or won't eat, what they like or don't like, it's a challenge, as well as trying to fit everything else in, and you as the mother will know, what's what, with your child/children, you have to just try and not worry about what anyone else thinks, and do what works for you, I was diagnosed with Achalasia, so with kindness I say, if you can eat properly, try to be grateful for that, kindness is so so important too, food can be such a sensitive, delicate topic, as mother's, it's all about trying to do what you can, to feed your child/children as best as you can, and to make them happy and content as much as you can, I have so much respect to all of the mother's out there trying to do that, well done Mum's and good luck to you all, your doing great 💐🌷🌸

7:58 Honestly, I can’t believe anyone would have a go at you. I’m in the same boat as you. You’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do. You do a great job. We all need to cut ourselves some slack, we’re doing the best we can 💪

My daughter is 8, autistic and quite literally had a beige diet until about 6 months ago when her understanding came on enough to TRY more food. Still gags with a lot but she's getting there 😊 don't worry about what people say! Xx

The korean dish looked lovely! Id said before i had a daughter who lived for years on yogurt and custard....and nothing else! I cried for years, we tried everything and in the end, we let her carry on with her yogurt and custard for every meal and snacks. She is almost 21, she got 4A*s for her Alevels, she's doing Accountancy and is specialising in forensic accountancy. Her years of yogurt and custard did her no harm at all. Now she eats quite a varied diet, but would eat pasta for every meal if she could. My issue is people who force children into eating certain foods....with comments like "they'll learn to like it"....forcing food is never a good idea. My sister is the absolute opposite of me. I will cook and often do cook 3 different meals at once...stressful but at least everyone eats. Children will be fussy, but run with it, they will eventually start trying other foods when they are ready....unless they are sensory dependent in which case it can be a long time until they try new things. Personally i hate cooking dinner. It's stressful, someone moans at something but I enjoy mine 😂 xx Ps cant wait to see what you think of hello fresh xx
