One thing I feel like I should have clarified in my video is that we're ONLY doing all this legal stuff and paperwork to help us RELEASE/DISTRIBUTE the film. Shay and I have 100% FULL creative control over the footage and final edit of the film. "Hollywood" is not touching the documentary in any way!

I'm already so emotionally invested in this documentary, especially with the whole Charles aspect. Going back and rewatching the trailer, the inclusion of Just Keep Breathing made me tear up because of how relevant it's been in the KZbin community this past year.

If all of those people we're actually a main focus on the movie then yes it would. If you watched the Apprentice A daily vlogs you would see that they have a "script" for the documentary is highly organized and useage of clips/whos in them/what they are saying are well kept track of. If they can spend the money and time to fly back out a whole crew to Florida and reinterview multiple people, they have time to look up the few seconds I'm sure her URL is even shown and change it to the now appropriate URL.

Thanks for the update. I really do wish the weekly email newsletters were still a thing though. That, and when you say "We want to tell the FULL story" - the story is never really "complete" though, right? I mean it's vlogging, the story is people's lives. I get that you want the brain surgery part in it, that's a huge milestone in vlogging, but the story is really never over.

I know what you mean Danny. What I get out of it is Vlogging is like a never ending book. Without all the pages the story is incomplete. The added surgery is like a missing page, an without it the "book" wouldn't be as great.

I agree with what you're saying about the story never really finishing but I think what has happened to Charles, since filming, needs to be in the movie. There is too much of a significance for it to be left out.

It be nice to get new perspective from people who started new VLOG channels from other KZbinr friends. People like Ben Brown and Dave Erasmus (fun for louis) or band members of We The Kings... Danny Duncan and Travis Clark (CTFxC). These guys are now doing vlogs and have grown over the past year.

As a contributor, my frustration is not so much for the rush of the movie to get released,....it's lack of updates on what's going on with it. There was a newsletter that was suppose to be giving all the contributors updates on the process and how everything is going and it would have been nice to have gotten that newsletter these past few months. It just seemed like once ApprenticeEh went back home after taking the trip all over the U.S. to interview KZbinrs, all the updates completely stopped. Shay, you did one or two video updates for the contributors and that was wonderful. It would be great to bring those video updates back. I don't mind if the movie takes 3 or 4 years to complete,...just please update the contributors. It would be greatly appreciated.

He could put out a 1 minute video and get a million views so I think he would be great to talk to. stuff like that really depends on the demand, I don't think they have a distributor, so they will be using their own money to send it out, and if they over distribute the movie but not as many people see it, then they could end up not even making their money back. most lower budget films start with a limited release and feel the waters and if sales are going well and a demand then they widen the release more and more. In a perfect world, every major city in Canada and U.S would have the film showing, but just like all the other details that they have to go through, it's not as easy as most would hope.

I don't mind that the documentary is taking more time than expected, but I wish the team had kept up with the email updates. I loved getting those when the ApprenticeA team was on the road and it felt like shortly after filming was done, the updates kind of just stopped. I am a CTFxCer and watch other vlogs too which have inspired me to do vlogs myself (I just wrapped up Vloguary on my channel). Vlogging will become such a valuable resource in the future to the descendants of the vloggers and to historians. And for the present, they create amazing community spirit and friendships.

I think that's a good idea to add that into the movie I agree with you. Just remember, exciting things happen everyday, at some point you're going to have to finalize the movie and maybe some things will happen and you're going to wish you could put them in there but maybe that opens up for another movie. It's never going to be 100% perfect to you but we will think it is. So just remember, you will always want to add more things in as lives progress but some day, you'll have to roll the credits.
