I live in Altadena, my house did not burn down, we were missed by 3 houses. The street above and below were all wiped out! Our community will take sometime to be rebuilt. My prayers and thoughts are with all of the families. We need to work together to ensure all our folks are able to have their homes rebuilt.

My sister, her husband and 13 year old son, lost all, home is gone, all their neighborhood is gone along Mariposa. 😞😭90% of Altadena is GONE. I cry everyday for all these families and business owners who lost everything.

Cindy please don't think im being mean asking this, but why didn't your father and his coworker get their vehicles out of there when they were told to evacuate? Didn't they get time? Can you maybe explain on your next live? Or was this burnt in middle of the night? You think you could of seen the fire off in distance plus with evacuation warnings they should of had time..its so devastating. Im not trying to be mean so please. I just have been watching all news on California fires..and I hope his insurance does do something. Id sue if I was him. Thats what insurance is for. Thank you for this video..the news hasn't got in depth like you did. Im actually really teary eyed at the reality. So sorry this happend to you. Love you girl be strong.

That night the winds were soo bad you could barely open your eyes…. People weren’t told to evacuate till the last minute. There wasn’t much warning and we were running out of our homes yo survive. 80+ miles an hour, trees falling, streets blocked and fires everywhere. On top of that power was out so not everyone was notified. The focus on TV was the Palisades fire.

@@ieuser9 thank u for clarifying that. I fiqured it had to be something really bad. Its so hard to feel hopeless except to donate money...while money helps temporarily its not like these victims can turn their lives around with the little aid they will get. They worked their asses off their whole lives to just loose everything. With no warnings or anything just makes my heart hurt more. They don't tell you this on news. I had to ask someone who actually experienced it before my hubby opened his pocket. Book to help. Because when u donate you want it to go to the actual person not the organizations that give one box of food that doesn't help. I hope along with generous donations the government steps up and helps everyone including the stars. And the help they recieve is enough for replacement of vehicles snd at least three months of income so those whose employment was wiped out have time to look elsewhere. They need transp. Work clothes, basic necessities just to job hunt. This is a huge tragedy 😢. I hope and pray Cindy's father gets help. Like real help. Ty for explaining. I was really scared to ask..I hope this info gets out to all had no idea. Prayers to you and cindys dad and everyone effected.

@ it was like a bad dream…. I don’t know how we made it out so quickly, I had less than 15 min to pack up my cats, meds and their food. Now they are really scared of the wind. The news and notification to evacuate was awful but then resources were stretched thin. Out of this tragedy the goodness of people has really lifted our hearts.

Your dad may have lost his possessions, but he still has his life. You can replace material things, but you can't replace your dad. I'm so glad he has survived this horrible tragedy.My heart breaks for him . I know what it's like to have nothing. I have been made homeless by evil people and have been labeled the bad one. But I realized one thing, that material things mean nothing to me. At least your dad has a family that loves him. The best thing you can do for him is be there for him and support and love him unconditionally.
