Poly Gate, and Diffusion area aren't metal layers (in BEOL). The CMOS inverter would be wired up in one metal step, likely M1.

Hi M1, M2..etc Metal layers are reffered to layer above poly so it might confuse people if you use these naming convention to layers below poly. Thanks Gaurav

Hi I think colour code for pmos is yellow and for n mos is green....pls check it

Colour code is depends on process, if we want we can change the layout colours
