I’ve had a lot of fire pits. I thought the pop up fireside fire pit was a gimmick till I got one. Best fire pit I’ve ever had I’ve got the grill attachment and it has been awesome. The mesh has held up so far. I carry spares but am still on the first one with solid use for 6-7 months now

I've never changed my mind so frequently while watching a review! ... OH! I want THAT one. ... No - THAT one. Wait, what? Oh - no, THAT one is what I need ... HUH? I'm still on the fence because I love the heat you explain on the Fireside, but really love the changeable height of the Kings grill. I'm hoping Fireside will make an adjustable-height-grill!! Thank you. This was a perfect video review!

I’ve had a fireside pit for 3 years , it’s brilliant as a fire but very average for cooking . It doesn’t maintain any hot coals so useless if you want to use a camp oven . Apart from that it is a great camp fire and throws out a lot of heat . It’s super efficient with firewood , uses bugger all , generally a milk crate worth of wood is plenty for 6-7 hr burn time.

Really informative video. We took the Adventure Kings pit for a recent half lap of Aus. I was surprised how close we had to sit to enjoy the heat on really cold nights. But it was great for just the two of us and cooking was easy so it was a brilliant option for us. Keep up the good work.

If you clean the stainless mesh after a trip before you store it away it’ll last twice as long. Fireside for the win. Game changer.

Love the mesh fire pits. 🔥👌 Also a win is the zip carry case. Don’t like the open style case as bits can fall out and make mess

We got pop-up ..we used to carry 6-7 bags for fire wood for our camping trips .. with pop-up it reduced to just 3.. for cooking and heating. We do lots of winter camping ..we luv this product and much more effeciant...but that sheild will not last long .Probably need to buy few spare.. But still great one for winter camping

What’s the diff between the Kings and the Darche?

Might be important to note that the folding "King" firepit is a clone of the Snow Peak pit who invented it. I wanted to buy a Snow Peak as I love the design, but the complete sys is over $700 CAD and I got a perfectly fine Chinese clone from "Camping Moon", for $200 + tx.

Adjustable grill height is an absolute requirement for cooking. Sure I can shovel coals around but that reduces my cooking area and it's troublesome and persnickety.

You built the pop-up pit wrong, the mesh goes on top of the angle sides so it doesn't sag

Can’t understand the excitement. Basically you’re sitting in a camping chair, freezing your nuts off, whilst staring into a mini fire. Ending up smelling like a burnt chop. Fun 🙄

No, you are sitting in front of nice warm fire that used 1/3 less wook and has very little smoke, and you can cook on it. Fun for sure.
