Love your sled, got the vmax 600 triple not sx or srx and it’s just to heavy for any deep snow, it gets sucked in ditches but the power is sure there

You have any issues with your air box boots continually making their way off the carbs any suggestions to fix this problem

tanner fillier use hose clamps to go around the rubber then titan it up with a flat top screw driver

I just got my first sled, 98 vmax 700 xtc, and I have the same problem. The stock clamps suck! Ive yet to ride it, but this happens on a stand. Hose clamps should work for sure. Also, I was thinking that the inside of the manifolds and the outside of the carb might need to be cleaned and dried. Thinking they are sliding off due to being greasy, on top of vibration of course. My right side carb is doing this... this side of the airbox seems to shake more.

The solution for me was to take the airbox out, take the boots off, and clean everything realllllllly well with brake cleaner. The get some gearclamps and snug those motherfuckers down.

@@reddevilgarage5151 edge xcsp skid. 1/4" mounting plates for front holes. 9" back from axle flat. 6" down from top of tunnel. rear mounts also 6" down from top of tunnel. cant remember distance between those off top of my head

I read forums where they tested sno stuff can vs stock on red head triple and there was no loss in hp

​@TaylorByers4444 cans have no loss on the redhead engine as they like less restriction. even the bored stock exhaust is dyno proven to add hp. bluehead in viper is the one that seen a loss in the old dynotech shootout and it was just a single can (mbrp if i remember). bender, dynoport, slp, i know forsure had no loss. probably others aswell. regardless even with the hp or 2 loss the power to weight is improved.
