I have a 92nd Vmax that went like new in Hawaii, then it ended up in the US on the east coast, from there to Sweden. And I have never regretted buying this bike. Had it for 10 years now.

Like Achievements men I own both the Gen1 and the Gen2. I bought a lot of bikes through the years and I never sold any of them. But when I met my brand-new Gen1 in 95, she spoiled me for any other type of bike. It is so relaxing way of riding and so thrilling at the same time. Sports bikes give you thrill, choppers give you relaxation. The VMax gives you whatever you want. Even after 35 years after first presentation, the Gen1 is a very strong bike, that torque from low revs makes even everyday rides enjoyable. The bike doesn't push you to extend your limits or the limits of the situation. That bike keeps you in an unaggressive position but if you want to, it changes to a beast. The Gen2 is behaving basically the same just even more of all. The Gen2 is the honorable update of the Gen1. And in my opinion both are new interpretation of the Münch Mammut of the 70's. Thank you Yamaha to make my dreams come true.

I had an '88 Vmax and thought that it a monster at that time. I also owned a 2000 R1 and a 2002 Busa which I raced for money back in those days. Now, I have 2017 Vmax and this baby did not disappoint. It's a freaking monster.

Just got a 2011 VMAX two days ago of cycletrader! I love this bike and had to have one after I found out it was getting discontinued. I have a 2020 Rocket 3r also but I like seeing these two machines side by side.
