The relationship V and Jimin is one of the closest friendships I've ever seen, I really do think they are soul mates. Jimin is always looking out for V , the clips of them when they were singing love myself V was sick and couldnt sing Jimin never left his side, plus there was video when V was crying explaining to army that his grandma had died you couldn't see him but Jimin never took his eyes off V until he was done talking then ran up and hugged him. If you can find that one person to feel the way Jimin and V feel about each other you are a lucky person. I love watching videos like this especially when its about Jimin and V.

The other members of the group said that the best duo in the group are Jimin and V. Each one of the members express their love for each other in their own way. Sometimes in Korean culture, the bond between friends and family are stronger than with your significant other. It's just the affection, love and trust you find with someone you wholeheartedly know so well. The scenes where Jimin was consoling V when crying was where he found out his grandpa had passed. There was another short clip on stage where V announced to the Army that he was down since finding out about his grandma passing during touring. People should not jump to conclusions, there obviously are alot of hard times that the boys go through and if you think about it, they only have themselves to look out for eachother and have one another for support. We all should hope to find that one friend in the future, they are all so lucky to have eachother...

Basically Jimin is the most affectionate one. He always gives an outpouring of attention and love for the people he loves. Jimin is someone who will always being there to supports you both physically and mentally. Its one of the reason why i love him, hes not shy to expressing his heart to the people he cares about. Someones say that a persons character is formed from those closest to him, then you better watch "Jimin's relationship with his family by made in busan". Actually its kinda cringe but i really believe that tae and jimin are soulmate by fate. Like them being awkward teenagers come to seoul from different cities. Join an unknown small agency that going to bankrupt at that time. Went to school together, practice together, always being there for each others and now theyre being this up above together. The first couple of scene that you were talking about reality shows is their travel/vacation “reality show” called Bon Voyage, the first season they were in Northern Europe, the second season they were in Hawaii, the third season took place on Malta and the most recent season was in New Zealand. I love the bond between all the BTS members. Each "duo" have is own energy, and synergy . But the "Vmin" bond is something that I am jaleous about : we all need a close friend/soulmate as V and Jimin are for each other. They fight a lot when they were younger, sometimes they don't understand each other, but they always have been supportive, and sweet to each other. And they are not afraid to show their love and affection. That is a real friendship. I have this type of bond once in my life, when I was young, but I lost my bestie. I am 57 years old now, and he died more than 30 years ago , but every time I watch a Vmin video , it's remind me how the life is brighter when you have such a good friend with you.

honestly i think that part at the end really applies to a lot of male-presenting/female-presenting relationships too! my best friend through elementary and middle was a guy and we were affectionate with each other so everyone assumed that we had crushes on each other or that we would wind up married but it couldnt be further from the truth. They literally grew up together and have a tender brotherhood relationship. As a Korean, I can tell you that their skinship is absolutely okay and adorable. From some outsiders, I know it can be read as somehow sexuality, but it's just a different culture. Koreans can be touchy but it happens when they are truly close or when they show true affection :-) It's been changing a bit recently though... as all issues are shared around the world.

I’ve read about skinship in Korean culture & obviously have seen with our boys. I think it’s absolutely beautiful, adorable, cute & wish I had someone like that. I think it’s a great thing to have & in their pressured environment it can only help. Being away from their families as they have been from such a young age it seems natural. Jimin and V have a very close relationship. When he is hugging his head he had just keep into Malta, On Bon Voyage 3 because his grandfather had passed away. He was given leave to go see his family for a few days but they had a schedule to keep with this BV3 so he had to go to Malta it seems like it would be a hard thing to leave your family while greaving but he had to do it. When he got to Malta though Jimin was there to comfort him. They have had genuine moments when they are angry with each other and their fight over dumplings will go down in the books as the worst of the BTS fights. But I think they have equaly sensitive moments being caring and tender with each other.

I agree with everything you guys said and also context is so important. At like 15/16 years old they moved out of their family home and moved in with the other boys and so the normal affection that kids of that age want that you would usually get from family, they all got from one another. North American groups are created and operate so much differently than BTS so a lot of people forget that they are legitimately each other's family. & Jimin and V have said themselves that their friendship is like what having a soulmate is like because they just care so deeply about one another and I think that's just a byproduct of how heavily they relied on each other growing up.

I absolutely love Jimin and Taehyungs friendship and closeness as highlighted in the letter Taehyung wrote. The emotional vulnerability Taehyung and just all of BTS show at different times is something I think society in general but especially men could benefit from, a lot of men don't open up like this to their loved ones or close friends unless they die and even sometimes not even then. v has been friends with jimin since school; Jimin was very shy and bullied by his classmates for being fat, and at school he was very lonely and he had friends and was one of the friendly boys in his class, he approached Jimin and made friends with him by introducing him to the group of friends from school, then I saw when he entered BTS, he took Jimin who was the last group to enter the group, that's why it is very important for Jimin since he was the one who supported him in his most difficult times

Definitely friendship goals 💜 And srsly, one reason toxic masc is bad for men as well as for everyone else, is that affection & expressing emotions is discouraged in relationships other than in a romantic context for Western men. If women can have close affectionate non-romantic relationships with each other, then men should have these also, as it provides comfort in tough times & is psychologically healthy as people grow into adulthood. And if anyone wants to have a longterm successful romantic relationship, then they need to have emotional maturity... I think Jimin is the type of person that really loves taking care of others, and Tae is someone who is vulnerable enough to really let him in. Its actually kinda hard to let yourself be seen like that and taken care of. The reality show where V shared his letter to Jimin was from Bon Voyage Season 2 during their Hawaii trip. They were asked to write letter to a member and V was asked to write letter to Jimin. Everyone in BTS were thrilled with the thought because apparently, Jimin is always expressive of his feelings to his friends specifically to his BFF, V and V is a type of person who doesn't want to talk serious or speak his heart out. The episode was the chance to let V express his side.

Sweet Tae was going through a particularly bad patch, with death of his grand parents who brought him up, and the loss of a friend through suicide, he had always been so cheeky and seemed carefree, but these hit him hard he wasn’t previously so sad, that is why Jimin was being so excessively protective. Good friends who have worked hard and long and deserve the rewards coming to them.

Jimin had to learn to verbally express his love/friendship with V... V on the other hand is verbal and touchy... he likes hugs and words of affirmation. Teddy bear. It was V that helped JK open up more. He more or less was always watching the older hyungs until he found his voice and he is a little bit of all of them with his own twist of doing anything.

VMIN are such bestfriends, they are the same age in BTS so they went to same highschool, graduated together, debuted together in BTS and even no2 studying for their masters together. They have been trough thick and thin together and it shows.

Yes, the clip where Tae read his letter to Jimin is from BTS’s travel show called Bon Voyage(The guys travel to a different country and have to do almost everything themselves, they also have a budget.). Also, if I’m not mistaken, in the clip where Jimin and Tae sing together there’s one time where Tae didn’t sing and I believe that’s when he was sick/lost his voice. So I don’t ship real people(I just personally don’t feel comfortable with it), but I’ve heard people say that shipping doesn’t have to just mean romantic(though it’s probably mostly romantic), I believe it’s short for relationship so it can stand for friendship as well.

A lot of armies ship vmin as they believe they would be cute couple, but a lot of army also like vmin not as to pressure them into revealing their relationship. It’s purely because of the love they have for Eachother and their beautiful brother hood us armies enjoy watching. I personally don’t ship irl bc I feel like it puts pressure on the people people to keep a standard. 💜
