Maimuna Camara, who is deaf and dumb has been ill for years now. She has visited almost all the hospitals in The Gambia to see a doctor. Unfortunately, doctors and nurses have not been able to diagnose or say exactly the causes of her illness.
Currently, the young teenager is battling with her life vomiting blood from her nose, mouth, and also from her tongue after drinking too many drugs or painkillers prescribed by several doctors.
According to the medical report, Maimuna is ill with gastric. the question is, why is she constantly vomiting blood?
Maimuna's mother is a single mother selling firewood after her husband's sudden death, leaving behind 7 children.
However, Mainuna and her siblings are equally deaf and dumb except for four (4) of them. They all use sign language to communicate.
