I used to babysit for a professional NHL player and it’s very interesting to have these conversations regarding injury, set back, the dark side of being an athlete. I think every day people like myself forget that a great athlete like Von Miller is just another human being going through a set back and how much that can impact mental health. I've had 2 ACL surgeries, and like Von said. It's all mental coming back. Your knee is stronger after it's healed, just need to get that 2nd thought out of the brain
