Enjoy watching these build videos and seeing the transformation from start to finish. Video suggestion a V6 budget build. Alot more affordable and achievable for viewers who want to try revive older cars.

Ran into Jake at the servo earlier this week. Didn't know me from a bar of soap, and even with my social retardedness, still gave me the time of day and had a yarn. What a stand up bloke!!!

Great to see there is still stocko VNs out there. Couple of detailing tips for you. Don’t fuck around using brushes retail bottles of cleaner. Start off the interior from the top down, spray 10:1 water based degreaser on roofline and wipe clean with an old chamois. Work down to your dash, consol areas spray , wipe and use your air blow gun to get into vents, nooks and crannies etc. With your doorjambs, just spray the lot including door cards with degreaser and wash it off with your pressure washer, leave the doors open to dry. Wipe any rubber seal marks with prepsol and if you have a white car with red dust that remains, spray your doorjambs with acid based mag wheel cleaner. Rust marks such as you have on the paint and engine bay as well as any red dust hiding behind body gaskets, badges etc, spray it all with acid based wheel cleaner and wash off with pressure cleaner. This will strip the polish off the car and will need a buff. Those clay pads are bloody good gear and for those that do t have an orbital you can get a hand applicator and do it by hand. These are also good for removing overspray. One last thing. Stop using fcking microfibres and throwing them out. Wash them out and reuse them and shitting jobs should just be old fucked worn out rags. They are too expensive for o r time use. You might laugh, but when these came out, they were &30 each, so we were drummed with fear of sodomy they were not to be used for anything other than polish.

@25:20 Old Detailers trick, Prior to any paint prep & after a gerenal wash. Do a degreaser wash (something like CT-14) mix to suit , follow it up with an Acid wash (Store bought stuff these days isn't the same thing, you must be approved to use it) Class 3 Hydrofluric Acid (very limited time to work with, mix to suit application) Wash again with normal car wash (Stabilizes the Ph levels) Then Clay bar, then Cut & polish as required (many methods available) This works really well for cars of that vintage, some newer & many older. Enjoying this, cheers & hope it helps.
