Just want to let the Afgani brothers know that we have mention of Kandhar in our epic ancient history book named Mahabharata where the king of Kandhar("Gandhar" of that time) played a huge role. His sister Gandhari was queen of Kuru kingdom here. Do read about this connection with India's history. Btw I do have an Afgani friend from college named Fridoon Najeeb. A really nice guy.
