President Trump welcomes Jordan’s King to the White House for diplomatic talks

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday welcomed Jordan’s King Abdullah II to the White House for diplomatic discussions. The two leaders are expected to address regional issues, including the future of Gaza, which has faced more than a year of Israeli airstrikes amid ongoing conflict with Hamas militants.
The meeting comes shortly after President Trump warned that “all hell is going to break out” unless Hamas, a U.S.-designated terror group, releases all remaining hostages taken during the conflict by noon on Saturday.
