apogee : someone or something at it's highest point or at it's peak. modicum : slightest amount of something. decry : publicly denounce or criticize. contentious : likely to cause an argument ; controversial. facetious : treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humor. redress : remedy or set right (an unfair situation)

I'll just try to use these words that Chris told us about if any of you reading them find any error please let me know... Apogee: At its apogee, Breaking Bad had a rating above 8/10 most of the time. When we compare that to the Game of thrones, GOT is no way near. Modicum: After the election commission in India verified the VVPATs, there in no modicum of truth in the allegations that EVMs were tempered during the election. Decry: Most students decried the decision of the universities to increase the tuition fee. Contentious: The most contentious issue right now is the growing cost of education. Many argue that the cost has gone up but the quality has barely improved. Facetious: Although he was facetious most of the time, today he was quite dull. Redress: I strongly believe that the issue on education cost will be redressed quickly.

It would be better if you dont tell us what the word doesnt mean...for example decry is totally a different meaning ...but since you compared with crying ...it kind a gets stored in the memory that way rather than the exact meaning though..
