She's perhaps one of the most underrated vocalists ever. When you have it all: the vocals, choreography, beauty, artistic vision, acclaim, people will make up LIES about her because they're threatened one woman can do it all. Imagine if she were just to never entertain like she does and stand there and sing, she'd be brought up in the conversation with Whitney, Celine, and Mariah. The amount of people who say she can't sing and Adele and Sia are better vocalists are delusional and maybe hard-hearing. It's nice to see people who understand vocal pedagogy analyze Beyonce because she is truly great.
@pipoybam37023 жыл бұрын
Speak on it!!!!!!
@Rakim82 жыл бұрын
That is certainly delusional because both Adele and Sia idolise Beyoncé for the very reasons why they idolise THEM. Even Adele knows she’s no match 😂 This is another level of talent and musicianship.

I think she's extremely playful and that's why she can succeed when she takes so many liberties. The amount of confidence and grounding she has to just play/stay creative is astounding. The amount of money on the line is massive and she still keeps it all fresh. I love her bold decisions.

thanks for the long video! :) halfway through you were wondering if it was the delay, or the audience, but it was actually her background singers, The Mamas! during the performances of "1+1" she'd do a little back and forth with them, each night switching up the vocals, and then they'd have to mimic that on the spot, super fun!
@urielsmith32483 жыл бұрын
Literally one of my favorite parts of that song when she is live and go back and forth she use to play with the Mamas and see if their ears could catch along with their voice even though she knew they could/ was but just hearing ur notes back to u I think was fun and a vibe cause they be back there singing they ass off

41:50 that’s called reverb and she does it on purpose just to give a little effect. 31:08 that’s her background singers mimicking her vocals. she switched it up every night and played around with them vocally to see if they can keep up with whatever she improvises at that very moment. i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again, her ear is amazing that she can come up with these things on the spot EVERY SINGLE NIGHT and it’s ALWAYS different!!! also, gotta give it up for The Mamas(her background singers) for being able to keep up…her background singers only messed up trying to keep up a couple times but Beyoncé just laughed it off lol! her relationship with her team is great

Btw that bit of classical singing at 25:00 was at the end of sweet dreams, where part of the screen failed (she was supposed to be strapped to it and rotating for the song), so she had to kind of improvise the performance of the song - so it’s likely that the ending where she’s singing classically was completely improvised!!

Nobody and I do mean... NOBODY even comes close, even compares to the EPIC-NESSSSS and VISIONARY perfection of Beyonce. She has worked her ass off since childhood in honing and mastering her voice in all and every genre on the planet. This ICONIC woman can sign any song in any genre. NOT many singers can do that in the world we live in. Beyonce continues to do her homework, she continues to hone her voice, her tones, her runs where they are just naturally perfecto. People don't realize how much of a work horse Beyonce is.... she also does her research, she learns, educates and respects ALL music artists past and present and pays homage to them in such a beautiful and masterful way.
