I've been singing my whole life and I am very aware that I've been doing it wrong the whole time because I can't sing more than like three or four songs in a row without getting a sore throat. I know I'm supposed to sing from the diaphragm but like... how? lol

Girl... four songs in a row is enough, that's why singers make medleys in their shows, to rest their voices 7-10 mins because singing a lot songs in a short period is not recomendable. If you get sore throat you could do two things: 1 Develop stamina to prevent sore throat or damages on your voice- 2 Sing less Also if you like to belt a lot try to work on your mix voice, try to become lighter (heady). Work on your support and breath control and sing from your diaphragm and not your throat.

LOVED this reaction 🤍 I noticed Lala mentioning something about Perrie growling when singing her high notes. It isn't exactly growling though... mostly 'cause it's unintentional a lot of the time. It's actually rasp that distorts Perrie's vocals as a result of her being sick or having a tired voice. Those particular performances were in 2016/2017, Perrie's worst years vocally. She and the other girls of Little Mix were very tired after having to tour and record an album less than a month after the conclusion of their tour.
