Its a medley..he mergeed some of his famous songs into one and the last part of Kun Faya kuin was a tribute to A.R Rahman who is the composer of this song.. Atif Aslam is known for his vocal belting techniques! JUST explore some of Atif Aslam Stuff! Start with 'Tajdar e Haram' From Coke Studio.. You will love every second of that particular song! And CS songs have subtitles available, make sure the caption turn on while listening it... You'll understand better whats going on.

8:50 That instrument was HARMONIUM, mainly made of wood. It works through flowing air. In indian sub continent (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Srilonka etc) when some one wanna to be a singer, then he continues his practice with this instrument first. In a word, it's a root level instrument for them.

the nasal quality at the end of the lines is primarily because in the hindi language the verb ends up at the end of the sentence grammatically, "hoon" at the end of his lines means "am" in english this case.
