I wasn’t a K-pop fan until this song. Their vocals, the R&B and their handsomeness reeled me in. Taeil is my favorite (yellow in ears). His voice, his runs, his tone…everything you said about him is why I love him the most.

comparing haechannie to another idol for the quality of his tone is underestimating his talent and technique. boy passed the most difficult audition in sm (open saturday auditions with the lee sooman as a judge), very few sm idols got that flex.

actually, there are really LOTS of great songs from NCT boys, especially the b-side tracks from their albums, from each unit, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, even NCT U... I really cannot choose which one, but maybe for my personal choice, I'd like to reccomend NCT 127 - Gold Dust (live vers), NCT Dream - Rainbow (live vers), WayV - Love Talk, NCT U - Faded in My Last Song .... can't wait for other NCT reaction from you

Thank you so much for appreciating Doyoung's vocal. Actually, it was his first time to properly and consistently support G#4 on his notes, which was highly amazing because of his good breathing control. After that ra or couple months after, Doyoung able to maximize A4 supported note in his cover on the Falling, this was incredibly great as he showed a very huge improvements compare with his old performances. And nowadays, he has a good balanced mixed voice. Likewise, it has better techniques comparing with his performance on this video.

I'm not sure if you realized this, but in NCT-U's "From Home" they are singing in multiple languages. Taeil, Doyoung and Haechan are Korean; Kun, Renjun and Chenle are Chinese; and Yuta is Japanese. So this song has Korean, English, Mandarin and Japanese lyrics. Each of the members at one point were singing in their native language. NCT-U was NCT's first sub-unit, which debuted in April 2016. NCT-U is made up of pretty much all the members, they just add and subtract members from all the other sub-units depending on the concept for the song. NCT-U songs span a wide range of styles and genres and can include anywhere for all the members or only 1 or 2 members. The U stands for United, but I also like to think of it as Universal because of the way the group never has a fixed number of members. This sub-unit is designed to be fluid, which means the group is constantly changing and rearranging its members. Taeil (the oldest member of all of NCT) and Doyoung are both main vocalists from NCT-127, Heechan is a main vocalist of NCT-127 and NCT-Dream, Kun is the leader and lead vocalist of WayV, Renjun and Chenle are main vocalists of NCT-Dream, and Yuta is a lead vocalist from NCT-127. In the live MAMA 2020 award show performance, all the members who appear on the sides of the stage at the end were the other foreign members of NCT. Because this is an award show performance, they had to do something unexpected and special, so they added a surprise by including the rest of the foreign members in the song. (NCT currently has 13 foreign members + the 3 Korean members who are originally on this song = 16. Mark is Korean-Canadian, Johnny is Korean-American, Yuta and Shotaro are Japanese, Ten is Thai, Lucas is Chinese-Thai from Hong Kong, YangYang is Taiwanese, Hendery is Chinese from Macau (China) and 5 mainland Chinese members -- WinWin, Kun, Xiaojun, Renjun and Chenle.) Keep in mind that this was during the height of the pandemic and everyone was feeling separated and we were all struggling with the fact that we couldn't have that human connection and interaction. So this song is particularly meaningful because NCT was able to create a connection and remind us that we are all going through the same things regardless of where we call home. It's a particularly meaningful song for the foreign members of NCT -- because the members were physically separated from their homes and they were unable to see their families -- and all of NCT's international fans because they couldn't hold live events or travel to meet their fans in other countries, etc.

I just recently found this reaction from this arranged version, & let me tell you, this "arrangement" it's very similar to one of the older songs from TVXQ, an early 2000's group from SM at the time they were 5 of them in the group (now are only 2 but that's another story). The song is called Tonight, and you can find it live here in YT. You can react to that song & also react to the live versions of their songs in japanese, since the quality of their concerts in Japan are incredible amazing (nothing against their concerts in Koreaof course😅) For their concerts in Japan, i recommend "The Secret Code Live Tour" Bolero, Heart, Mind & Soul, Wasurenaide and Love in the Ice... overall all the ballads in there😅 but if you want one of their more dancey songs, MIROTIC, 'O' and Survivor~ are the ones❤ TVXQ is one of my ultimate favorites from the kpop, and even when they are only 2 left in the group, they still slay everything, i recommend u to check the "Chance of Love + Mirotic" live from them, even the other kpop singers in there were left in awe~ And for the remaining 3 that left TVXQ, called JYJ, i recommend checking out the live versions of NINE & In Heaven❤ You would be nicely surprised of their vocal range, harmonies & overall presence.

What a night this was... performance took my breath away. They took me to church that night. The vocal agility... just flexin' notes in the air like Simone Biles. You couldn't get me to go on stage after that... there's no following this performance. Taeil hit that note and had me testifying. A beautiful song sung with skill and heart.
