She lives in beautiful Queensland with her man and two children..One of the greatest singers in the world and she's content,and why wouldn't she be in the greatest country in the universe

I don't know who is managing Karise but they are not doing her justice. She deserves more and better exposure.

She definitely deserves a bigger platform 🙌🏻

Karise doesn't want the exposure.
@scanspeak005 ай бұрын
Not every artist is interested in having maximum exposure.
@samhell24923 ай бұрын
She doesn't mind the exposure, but she has no patience for music industry BS, and there's A LOT. They consider her difficult to work with because she won't bend over and take it

She is just one of the best! Maybe not famous like others but.....A voice that is indescribable!

Saw her live in Adelaide Australia,she literally blew the ceiling off the Norwood Hotel..unbelievable

And she is just as wonderful in concert! She mainly does small shows where you are really up close snd personal and then out of nowhere comes this INCREDIBLE voice!! She is one of the happiest people on the planet however, living with her husband and child on a farm and so singing is not as important to her. Im happy for her but sad that she doesn't travel much to allow us the privilege and honour to hear that miraculous voice. Such a fan!

She is absolutely amazing! She is almost throat singing at times, she seems to layers tones on tones on vibrato on staccato! Incredible! You should also check out her version on the Voice of Stay with me Baby - it is mind blowing! AND Hallelujah. I know, I know! Not fkn Hallelujah! LOL! But she really does it different.

This is the kind of voice and talent that I love. Karise's phrasing is so interesting. I'm hearing a bit of Aretha Franklin in there. I love an artist who makes you see a song in a new way. You should also check out Angelina Jordan's cover of this, Nina. Great analysis!

Definitely a bit of Aretha 😊 Oh yes I will have to check out Angelina’s version for sure!

You need to check out Karise singing Many Rivers to Cross with Seal from the Voice Australia, The Live Finale; this is the first season of Voice Australia in 2012, and Karise was the first winner. She was signed with Universal Music Australia and released her debut single You Won't Let Me; it was one of the four songs recorded by her that enter the ARIA Singles Chart top five during the week of 25 June. She became the first artist to achieve this feat since The Beatles, who held the top six positions of the chart in 1964. Her first album debuted at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart, and was certified double platinum.

Karise is like the love child of Janis Joplin and Ella Fitzgerald. Such an old soluful voice. There are a few tracks of hers worth checking into. Hallelujah is one that a lot of people mention. You can also go for Black Crow, Hopeless or Maybe You Can Love Me Anyway. There are some extremely good live versions of all of these on KZbin.
