Oh yes! Thank you for sharing this with us. I love Kelly since Idol, and the majority of reactors/vocal coaches & singers are missing out by ignoring her talents. If I may suggest a performance, you need to watch her singing "Meaning Of Life" at the Nashville Sessions. It's *chef's kiss* When a singer is barefoot they mean business, lol.

My favorite Kelly song is definitely Sober! If you’ve not heard it, I’d definitely recommend a performance of it! 2011 at The Troubadour, or when she sang it last year in Vegas, if you want a more recent performance! Tons of F#5s in the more recent one (she lowered the key for the Troubadour concert, but it’s still such a special performance), the song is insane. And say my fav Katy song is probably Thinking of You. The 2 songs actually sound pretty similar sonically, weirdly enough!

The meeting with the concrete surface disappointed her. About the state of health of the victim after the fall in the song is not reported. Should be told about it. The tone of the song is of course tragic. It's a modern requiem.
