Welcome to 2024 🎉 I was still listening to O COME O COME EMMANUEL and O COME ALL YE FAITHFULL on the first day of the new year, but a new favorit of mine is ASAP MORISSETTE SUPERWOMAN ( Raw) the 4.23 minutes long version, it's beautiful, I think it's not long after the Voice of the Philippinens, when she joined the show, I could be wrong, after Mori sings her nominated song, then comes the quartet of ladies on stage, Angelica, Klarrisa, Mori and Jona, PERFECTION. there is another Video but it takes away from Mori's performance, because it goes to the background singer Klarrisa and cuts into the big part in the song, so be careful, after Mori's song the background singer takes over so Klarrisa and sings her nominated song with someone doing the background singing and so on, enjoy the new year and SUPERWOMAN (Raw).😊 forgot to thank Troy for his support of Mori plus he's a great keyboard player and singer.

Ang Huling El Bimbo is a classic rock ditty from the 90s originally by the band Eraserheads. El Bimbo itself is a song from the 70s performed by a French band, Bimbo Jet with accompanying dance choreography aptly named El Bimbo. Ang Huling El Bimbo is loosely translated as "The Last Dance." The original song is a little bit longer than Mori's short version here. Troy Laureta (keys) is a Filipino-American musician/producer/musical director and has worked with David Foster and Ariana Grande and other famous international artists.

During my HS-College days in the 80's, my favorites are Folk, Rock and Country songs and during that time, some Filipino rock bands started to be formed and Eraserheads started to be popular. Their 1st viral song was "Pare ko" but this "Huling El Bimbo" made me appreciate the Band even more. Now, Morissette's version is an R&B-Pop-Rock type which are her comfortable zones.
