Was that really objective? I found Adele kept lowering her larynx and quite evidently too in the lower notes whereas Miley's larynx was completely neutral and free of tension and her lows sounded natural, yet you kept giving the low notes to Adele. If you're judging from a technical perspective, shouldn't you point out that Adele's tonal quality is altered when she lowers her larynx and produces a "fake" tone by trying to sound deep? I mean, yes, she reaches the notes. But the technique behind it is not the proper one. Also, Adele seemed to struggle above D5 and her E5 was clearly head voice yet you would still refuse to give the point to Miley who belted out a full E5 and sustained it. I see a bit bias here, if I'm being honest. I'm not really a fan of either so I don't really care, but when making videos like this you should aim to be objective. You seemed so hesitant to give Miley any points. Even in the clips where she was clearly better, you decided to give a point each. Hmmm. Not that fair.

Why there are so many comments here that Adele can't sing high-profile and miley can. All the high-profile lyrics in her songs hit perfectly - but you can't say she can't get above it because you haven't heard her sing it. Adele has a voice that few can compare to. Honestly, Miley has a better overall voice. Her lows aren't showcased here, 2 of them were just fun stuff versus a live performance in front of an audience which is probably rehearsed. And even though she has a harsh approach to belting, she still is better than Adele even at that. Not to mention she can go both higher and lower than her and she has a smaller supported range than Miley. Adele is a great emotional singer, not arguing with that, but an averagr singer. Miley isn't obviously the best singer there is, but she is definitely better.

I felt the same way too that the person who had created this video clearly favored Adele. MIley's lows are clearly on par with Mariah's. And her high notes are clearly better than Adele's. Not to say Adele can't belt but sometimes she does struggle but again, the video creator didn't include the bad ones. Note: I'm a lamb and I don't like the way Miley thinks Mariah as being self-absorbed by saying that Mariah's lyrics are basically all about herself when they are not. But I'm not gonna let my perception get in my way when I think of her vocal abilities and her Hannah Montana songs are bops.

Agree. But why on par with Mariah? She is known for her lows really well, but since she is a soprano (maybe nowadays more like a mezzo), she cannot have the depth a lower voice has. She lowers her larynx when hitting them, while Miley doesn't need to most of the times (she has like a fry F2, but it is obviously not great and clearly achieved with a low larynx, but a woman hitting F2 is amazing anyway). Miley has a deeper voice than Mariah for sure.

I think on the Bb4 note, Miley wasn't flat, Adele's was actually sharp which made Miley's sound flat. On Adele's: "a thousand times" - "thousand" is on pitch but she goes sharp on "times" by a quarter tone. Both words should be Bb4.
