It's common here in the Philippines to hear people good or even exceptional at singing and yet they aren't even famous. So if you're a singer (by profession) in the Philippines, it is expected that you should be able to sing exceptionally. Filipinos are the hardest to please when it comes to the art of singing or music 🎶🎵

This style of singing is obviously an influenced by the amazing Asias SongBird Regine Velasquez. His versions is obviously of Regine. All The singers specially the girls in the country are seeing Regine as their main influence.

Don't fling your guitar. If you get the chance to visit the Philippines, bring it with you. You might see a lot of legends who are keeping a low profile. You'll see them all over fiesta, just hanging out and having a good time. When there is a fiesta, many musicians will gather and have fun making different instruments sing for them, exchanging food, drinks, harmony, and friendship.

That's the Regine effect. There has been a number of girls and guys with that kind of tone because of Regine Velasquez. She has one of the most powerful voices in the Philippines and people wanted to be like her and so they copy the way she sings and also her tone.
