Okay I dont wanna do this but since y'all wanna place kelly in a category...kelly is lights ahead of christina...her technique is exceptional, GREAT pitch, her musicality is great and never over the top to the point that it gets annoying, she can sing literally anything, she's ten times more skilled and she never has to put her larynx down to create volume to the point that she resembles Kermit the frog from times to times... Kelly's voice has more natural grit than Christina's (she put on a darker tone and distortion while singing but her natural tone is lighter). Though Ariana simply has the wider vocal range compared to Kelly. That doesn't mean she's better, i think Kelly has a better belting technique and more resonant voice.

Ariana's musicality will never cease to amaze me. Her placement on some of those G5's were perfect. Kelly wasn't kidding with the Celine type lungs. And Kelly? Where do I even start... her tone just matches this song so freaking well and her control, range, and power come so easily to her. An I agree, the balance and teamwork here made the performance that much better.

I don’t think so. I can’y deny Kelly’s voice is louder than Ariana’s but Ariana was matching kelly’s loudness with powerful high belts, fast runs, distortion and head voice. They both did great but at the end of the performance a think Ariana was slightly superior taking into consideration her superior consistency as well.

One of THE best Voice coach sing togethers ever! Everyone like you said were so respectful of each other, no one outshined another but rather complimented their different tones and styles. The boys did great but, come on, Kelly and Ariana stole the show. Kelly just has that rich, smoky voice for this kind of soul, and her range! Ariana stepped up her game and tapped into a more soulful sound rather then her pop princess vibe. It was wonderful to watch and lovely to see them all supporting each other through the song. I am with you, I want MORE!
