In 1993, Beyonce and what would become Destiny's Child performed in the group category. That same year, Beth Hart won in the female category with the most perfect scores of any contestant on that show. She is also touted for her vocal range. Beyonce's Lemonade mimics the style of Beth Hart's albums. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqvHe5ltfdanqs0

You nailed that scale from "Baby It's You"! She's a beast. No doubt about it. A wild beautiful, talented beast! Great video. Even though you kept getting lost in her voice and technique. (which is to be expected even from a seasoned pro such as yourself) Even if she overkills a riff it's still flawless. Enjoy the rest of the weekend lovely human.

The reason I would place the greatest female vocalists of each generation as just that, not only because of their natural vocal capabilities whether it be their agility, tone, volume output, range, or an amalgamation of all. Has to come down to their technical proficiency. They hone their instrument & train it like that of an athlete. Which following singers like Aretha, Whitney, Mariah, Celine who are seen as those vocal benchmarks of absolute status, all share. No matter their different voices & people persona preferences. They all have technical prowess! Beyonce is one of those artists, who has full control of her voice. Her melismatic ability are intensely complex & fast. Yet her intonation and ability to stay on pitch is crazy! Her headvoie is so operatic and full, it's beautiful extended! Only thing missing here is the showcase of her lower register too. Thankyou for your videos!

@CaitlintheCasual5 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I've been sick with a cold the past week and it has made me realize how lazy my breathing habits are when I'm well and my voice is more readily available. I've been having to push the sound out to get through the sickness, using proper breath support, felling it in my abs and back, but when I'm not sick, I neglect to support so well. So, I need to work on that and not be so dang lazy, especially if I wanna belt show tunes when no one is around.

I subbed today, I love that you analyse technique and artistry in very creative ways and I love when you sing along, you clearly are talented and knowledgeable! As for "too much runs" - in my opinion classical, middle eastern & gospel music and R&B sAngers like Beyoncé, Mariah, Brandy or Jazzmine prove that you can sing with a heavily melismatic style, as long as it's done properly, fits the music behind and reinforces the message and mood of the song.
@dillon94505 жыл бұрын
Yes! You need to react to “Beyoncé knowles: the king of vocal runs” it’s a little long so idk if you would want to make two different videos ,but it demonstrates her insane vocal agility with a lot of performances that people have never seen but it’s a must watch even if you don’t record your reaction!
