No one actually commented about the deep meaning behind this song. This song is about a black swan which is expressing its feels before it dies. And, as a swan always sings before it dies, this song has a deep meaning. And even in the last, when the shadow went down, it means that the swan is died. This song is so underrated. Pls suggest this song to those who want to know about BTS.

We care about you too :) I’m in California too and we are going into a kind of lock down too. My school got shut down today, we had two different plays and a show for my advanced dance class that got cancelled or postponed. It’s really sad. I was supposed to go to the April 26 concert for bts at Levi’s but it’s currently being threatened and I really don’t want it to be cancelled. It would be my first concert and I am going as a birthday present that I haven’t gotten one for the past two years so my parents could save to pay for it. I still love and support bts no matter what and I love you too Justin, your reactions are amazing. Thank you for caring about us too.

Black Swan MV is great, the visual fits so perfectly to the melody and lyrics. I think every artist can relate to it. (I'm an illustrator, but I feel it too.) And great to see you're taking care of yourself. I live in Europe, my country closed almost everything except grocery stores. I'm in self-quarantine, because of working with someone who was probably in touch with a person with the virus. Sooo. I will have a lot of time next few weeks. I will probably start with Singr, looking forward to it. (unless I become sick and won't be able to breathe :D) Be careful and stay healthy!

I am all good here in Western Australia. There is panic here too and I am also taking it seriously but I am not one to panic unless it becomes a real problem and they start telling use that we need to do something. I know all to well that this virus likes to attack those with compromised immune systems and I have been lucky as I have iron deficiency anemia which can lower my immune system a bit especially in winter. but I am all good and healthy and alive. What's your biggest problem is, you pause/Stop at the end before it ends! Then you will miss the important things which are in the end! Especially for k-pop you shouldn't stop before it ends. This is K-pop not the regular rendering!

I'm from Italy...here the situation is a little bit out of control...we can't get out of the house if there's not an emergency or something really important. The supermarkets are half empty and the people are so freaked out by the epidemy that they buy things like for months leaving the shells empty...I hope that everything will return to normality in the minimum amount of time...thanks for the concern that you have for everyone, you're so though full!!😊

I think the shadow disappearing at the end signifies that it's now hidden from the rest of the world and exists within them. it was only highlighted during this song when they sang about it and now it's back to where no one can see it. i think.

Glad you reacted and posted anyway. I am in Albania and we are in a lockdown. everything closed except pharmacies and grocery stores. No buses running (expect for emergency services but police are riding all the buses to enforce this) no private vehicles except for delivery vehicles allowed on roads. Police stopping all traffic in and out of major cities. So new youtube videos are great....we are going to run out of new stuff to watch so fast!

Honestly when I first saw this MV, I didn’t even notice what was going on in the video. I had never seen the translation of the lyrics and didn’t know what the song was about, and the whole way through I just read the lyrics and was shocked. It’s actually a quite sad song, they’re afraid they’re losing their passion for music. I’ve been listening to it for a couple weeks and never thought to look up the translation and the song got a million times better now that I know the meaning.
