When listening to Jin, more than anything it makes me FEEL. His emotional delivery is so powerful that when he sings emotional songs, you can't help but be utterly engulf in it. He was training to become an actor for his bachelors degree and I think it made him master the emotional aspect of singing better. If you have the time, maybr check his old covers (around 2015) Mom and I Love You. The songs are simple repetitive but the way he uttered and deliver each line differently, you can feel the complex emotions that wasn't explicitly stated. Please do listen Mom and I love you by Jin.

This is such a good song!!! It's actually about his 2 sugar glider pets that passed away and how he misses them!! 😭😭😭💜💜💜💜 I agree that Jin improved throughout the years!!! He really worked and trained hard to be where he is at now just like how Justin talked about Jin improving..not that he was bad but that he truly did improve his vocal range!!! That's why his solo Epiphany was such a great song..because he really built up his vocals cords and trained his muscles to hit those high notes!!!

Now I ain't no producer, but if you hear the final version of this song, called This Night/Tonight, I think he sat down on purpose because he wanted the song to sound more.. I don't what's proper word for it, breathy? Emotional? Melancholic? And I think they even made the song sound like it's playing from a tape or something.. I don't know how to explain it but if you hear the song you might get what I mean. thank you so much for your reaction and review about his vocals! :) as you can already see from some of the comments jin doesn't have any background in music compared to the other members and to add to that he even learned the vocalization of an actor because that's his major when he was in university..even his old vocal coach said that jin didn't only improve but tranform his vocals because he needs to learn vocalization of a singer instead of an actor and was a model student.. and the fact that he improve in all aspects that he needed in such a short time while being busy as ever makes me repect him more :) thanks again and have a good day 💜

You are absolutely right Jin has improved a lot means that he continues to work on improving, he was studying acting, he had to put everything he had learned aside and start from scratch, intonation, posture, breathing, many things that do not work when you sing,and when your body is used to certain routines it is very difficult to get rid of them, not to mention that he had never taken singing lessons
