Jin is a shy introvert who as eldest hyung takes it upon himself to break the ice and relieve the tension and make everyone laugh to keep his younger band brothers happy and stress free. I understand him perfectly because I'm a shy introvert who works as a broadcast journalist so I'm always having to break through my shy introvertedness by being loud and funny. But it's really draining so when I don't have to I shut down and retreat inside my shy shell and then people say I'm cold and unapproachable. But I'm just shy and too tired to break through the shell. Besides, here in my language "wolf" is an endearment like calling someone "honey".
