Hi Rebecca and thank you. I only recently found Dimash a couple of weeks ago on here quite by accident. Now I cannot go a day without listening to him. I do not think there are enough words in any language to accurately describe him. He has thousands upon thousands of very young love struck girls who would climb mountains and swim oceans to see him but I wonder if he knows there are also those of us older would also if we could. I am a 69 year old woman and music has always been a large part of my life. Real music that is. It has been a very long time since a singer came along and just allowed me to sit back, close my eyes and go somewhere 'out there' escaping daily realities for a bit, most often with sweet tears. In my opinion Dimash has been given a gift to be a gift to us. I pray Dimash stays true to himself and continues the path chosen for him. Thank you Dimash and thank you Rebecca for reacting.

Stunning.The producer of the song is Walter Afanaseff . He met Dimash they spend some time together. Walter said to Dimash it is an honor to have met such talent like him. Walter also produced for singers like Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Michel Jackson, and many more, he won academy awards for the best producer. Composers like Igor Krutoy well accomplished and known around the world is the one who plays the piano for the song the love of the tired swans. He immediately acknowledged Dimash talent. He is going to NYC soon. singers like Laura Fabian congratulated Dimash.The men who sponsored the festival invited Dimash specifically. So its so lovely to see that very accomplished Artist are recognizing what Dimash can deliver. O and the lyrics of this song are by Will Jennings, songwriter James Horner. Actually Celine Dion hated this song, specially as a soundtrack, but ended up doing it, and look what a hit. Their opinion matters, so Dimash can ignore does who are not fun of him. He's one of those singer's you want to reach through the screen and smack in the mouth. The only critique I have is he needs to work a little on his diction but I think his accent is getting in the way. Let's be honest this kid is a beast!

Yes, he has a little problem with diction not only in English but also in French - however, I will give him major props for singing in languages he doesn't even speak properly. He's learning and I think with all the travel and exposure he is bound to get in the West, his diction will improve.

@@sweeperboy I try not to say much about diction in an artist singing in a language that isn't there first because accent is the problem, breaking down each word into syllables is a good place to start to work on that. Any singer that sing's in a language that isn't there first deserves props, it's hard enough to learn to sing properly in your own language. When you're talking about a singer like Dimash who's such a techniquely sound singer it really is just nitpicking.

Accent might be one but if you listen to him singing Kazakh or Russian, I am sure it is considered impeccable by the natives. I heard that he sings in 12 languages. Each language definitely has its quirks that makes it harder to master even if it is seen as “simple” since your tongue is used to it basically. I know child acts in competitions mastered the perfect way of singing a song by listening and practicing it for at least weeks to months. Dimash being in his 20s is really good especially if he doesn’t have much time to prepare for it. I think it is mainly the alphabets or sounds that doesn’t exist in his native language hence why it is harder to pronounce. I can say that his pronunciation in Mandarin songs are not perfect but I am immersed by his ace, mint skills that it doesn’t matter to me. All I want to hear is how Dimash places his own flavour to a song and make it sound amazing as always.
