As for self promotion, isn't that what artists do besides showcasing their art? So long as the audience gets the performance they deserve promoting ones art will always be part of the equation. Every reactor on YT does it. Some singers use promo companies. Dimash and his team goes all out to put him out there. As long as they deliver...I have no complaints

A Ukrainian reactor said he couldn't believe Dimash learned this song only the night before. He said it was so good he sounded like a native speaker. Also an Italian said the same about an Italian song. Dimash is truly remarkable, everything he does seems to be perfect. 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

Ukrainian language is very similar to Russian, which Dimash speaks excelently. With his singing skills, it was not so difficult for him. Nevertheless, he WAS amazing to comfort the Ukrainians and his mom too.

He sounds like he is Russian, sorry. I love how he sang that song, and I respect so much that he learns the song in Ukrainian for Ukrainian audience, even though he did not have to and I am sure it was not easy. The fact that he learns it overnight is mind-blowing. It does not matter if he had accent, it is about the gesture itself. It was very thoughtful and beautifully executed. That being said, he did not sound like a native speaker. That reactor was just being nice. But it's fine to have an accent or find it hard to pronounce some sounds in a foreign language. He was very understandable, Ukrainians are accustom and understand Russian accent.

The pronunciation in the Ukrainian language is perfect! His mom told in the interview that she usually has a strong character but here she couldn't help crying. It was a surprise for her. The song is about the love of an adult son to his aging mother. It is well-known and loved by the Ukrainians. Although the song has the authors it is considered to be a folk song. You're the first person I've seen comment on those slides. I've been waiting for a singer/coach/musician to do so. I don't know any other way to describe those slides other than "hauntingly beautiful". Even besides vocal range, this guy is capable of soooo many different styles & techniques, colours & timbres, control & flexibility, dynamics, variety, etc. with his instrument (his voice) that it's just insane. Beyond that, he's also able to musically & artistically incorporate it all into music rather than just being some gimmicky freakshow. Incredible is an understatement. Even when he's singing very conservatively like in this song, his vocal tone and colours are so "sweet" and "round". He has so much control of his timbres and breath control even when doing very small vocal details and adjustments like in this song.

Justin...this is all about Dimash...he is not fallowing the strict rules...u said...interesting slide...indeed...he want's to show that u can do whatever u like with ur voice in a healthy way and by training it...no limits applied...feel free and make it interesting, make it fun...add emotions, interact, don't close ur eyes, if is a part were u are not singing just the orchestra...stay connected...be engaged with those who came for u..pay them respect...show them what u can do and surprise them and the best of it..he create his own style...pop/opera/rock by breaking some rules that limit the voice

Yes that's his mum in the audience, and this song is in Ukranian, so he only had one day to learn the words, and of course he was word perfect. This beautiful song is about a mother who is aging but still plants her field of marigolds by hand, it's a traditional Ukranian folk song, and a very beautiful one too. The audience had waited 8 years for him to come back to the Ukrain and perform, the huge sports stadium was filled to capacity, a total sell out 🌹🌹🌹
