Yes you have notice that calling voice, its how they are trained their vocal trainer particularly in SM trained them like this like this is one of the basic to be an excellent vocalist not that its the only technique they learned but it was one of it.

Idol Groups have their positions. ::Main Vocalist :: Main Dancer :: Main Rapper :: Visual :: Lead Vocalist/Dancer/Rapper EXO has 9 members and has 3 Main Vocalists. ( Baekhyun, Chen and D.O. ) But the popular fact is " All EXO members can sing professionally. " Even Main Rapper is a Good Singer. There's no boy group who can sing like EXO in 3rd generation Idol groups.

He even debuted with the shortest period of being trainee- only few months and right away became the main vocalist. His all solo albums are amazing

Yeah, if you listen to it properly you will notice that he’s using his vocal fold produce a strengthened or thick falsetto high note. There’s an extra power that’s been applied to the falsetto to make it sound full. A breathy falsetto is light, airy and breathy but this is not the case.
