Ninni , in the past EXO consisted of 2 groups (Exo-k) for korean and (EXO-m) for Mandarin , only the vocal line (CHEN, D.O and BAEK) started promoting the korean version for this song , but since LUHAN participated in the mandarin version they added him on the live stage as his voice can mix well with the other 3 members .. unfortunately there was no SUHO , but i get your point sometimes SUHO can imitate CHEN's voice very well ;)

@@Ninni3535 Suho sounds very similar to Chen in mid range .. many people actually mix them up... but his voice isn't as bright or powerful in upper register so you can always pick out Chen in the high notes. Chen and Suho sound beautiful together 😍 they did a duet

They've been together for 7 years and longer. But surprise, surprise, EXO's main vocalists spent the shortest training period. They basically spent less than a year together before debut. And at the clip where you ask this very question, it was on their 2nd year after debut. Spent barely 3 years together. I think you should react to “The powerhouse of KPOP - EXO (Main vocal line)”. That video will give you an idea of how good the 3 main vocalists of EXO are. (Chen, D.O and Baekhyun). Chen has the best overall technique and widest range in EXO. His falsetto is very present and pleasing to hear. D.O: King of Runs and R&B. He might not be able to sing high notes like Chen and Baekhyun but his agility is by far the best. Baekhyun: A mix of D.O and Chen. Can sing high notes and has great agility. His mix voice belts are no joke. No one can match his emotion on the stage. His vocal tone is just amazing. Edit: React to part 2 as well, since i it highlights the other members who aren’t main vocalists but are also very good.

@@kee_est3133 I think u might be confusing high notes with falsettos.. I've always seen everyone praising baekhyun for his falsettos as they are really superior. Chen is known for his high notes.. Falsettos are baek's forte.. Everyone knows this.. Baekhyun has always been the one renowned for his falsettos in all EXO songs.. Like Moonlight.. Monster.. Even his own song now UN Village where he displays it amazingly. Chen does not really have a strong falsetto & I've rarely heard him sing in falsetto but he has the widest range..

Evie I know Baekhyun’s also known for his falsettos but I really like Chen’s tone when he used his falsetto. In his 2 recent solo albums he used it a lot and it’s pretty strong and present so you should go listen to some of his songs like “You never know” or “Beautiful goodbye”. But yeah Baekhyun also has a sweet tone when using his falsetto and is very pleasant to hear and a lot people prefer his tone but it’s less present.

I'm not even exaggerating, here are all the times you singled out Chen: 1:40, 4:30, 5:26 (right/black hair), 5:50-6:00 (adlibs), 6:25 (left, chestnut hair; you can see Chen using his hand to help DO recover and keep the timing because earlier DO had lost it), 7:27-7:30 (right, honey brown hair). You should definitely react to some EXO-CBX live performances. They toured earlier this year and you can find high quality DVD clips. The songs to react to: - Papercuts (emotional performance for them since one of them was going to leave soon to do his military service) - Diamond crystal + cry. Chen has also done some covers on his youtube channel. It might be worth it to check some of those out. Also, check out A.C.E covers. Like Someone you loved or All of me. These boys have some insane vocals as well and their harmonies are beautiful.

Exo has captured me since their beginnings in 2011, so they've been together going on 9 years now, but it will be a couple more years till they are all together again because of military service, one by one, so I love enjoying just the 6 for now. Lay (Zhang Yixing) their last Chinese member is in China with a successful solo career, but still in Exo. They are all good vocalists, and the harmonies are incredible. They have many ballads and great B-sides on their 6 albums, also repackaged albums and winter albums I wish you could hear. Just amazing. But thank you for this anyway. I've seen no groups harmonise as well as SM groups do. A lot of other companies go for "unique" voices, but SM curates their lineups with good technique and voices that can blend, even if they have distinct sounds individually. EXO, SHINee, Red Velvet (and SNSD's, NCT's and Super Junior's vocal lines) all harmonise and blend perfectly

In a lot of these videos, EXO had only been together for a couple of years, and hadn't been really professionally trained for very long (so their technique wasn't as solid as it is now) hence the flubs here and there. But their heavenly harmonizations are really what make them stand out from the rest of Kpop as the Kings of Vocals. Nobody can do it better.

Not only that, but they debuted (2008) four years prior to EXO and actually mentored them, as well as NCT, as their brother groups of SM.
