Giovanni Edgar Charles Galletto-Savoretti, known professionally as Jack Savoretti, is an English acoustic singer, songwriter, and musician. He has released seven studio albums to date: Between the Minds (2007), Harder Than Easy (2009), Before the Storm (2012), Written in Scars (2015), Sleep No More (2016), Singing to Strangers (2019) and Europiana (2021). Singing to Strangers became his first number-one album on the UK Albums Chart.
Breaking The Rules is a song by the British singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti. It is taken from his album Before The Storm, which was released in 2012. The song is about taking risks and following your own path in life. It has a live acoustic version and an official video on KZbin.

Great find! He has a really interesting voice, it sort of reminds me of a cross between Gavin DeGraw and Tom Waits. I definitely need to check out more of his stuff. The KZbin algorithm can sometimes lead you to great places, it's how I found your channel a couple of years ago :)
