I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this to you yet but near the end of filming the movie Lady Gaga recieved a call telling her that her best friend Sonja who had been diagnosed with cancer was not doing well. Lady Gaga drove nonstop to be by her friends side but was 10 minutes too late. Her friend had passed before she got there. Lady Gaga said that she kept telling everyone there that she didn't know what to do. Her friends husband asked her, "what would Sonja want you to do?" So Lady Gaga went back to finish filming this last scene for the movie. Bradley Cooper told her that they would get the scene in one take because he knew that she was mourning her friend. Lady Gaga said that she not only was singing for Jackson, Bradley Cooper's character, but that she was singing for her friend Sonja. I cry every time I hear this song 😢 Great reaction RVA!

FUN FACT - A Star Is Born with Barbra Streisand & Kris Kristofferson was not the original, it's the second remake. The 1st remake was in 1954, starring Judy Garland & James Mason, and the original came out in 1937 starring Janet Gaynor & Fredrick March. I think there even was a Bollywood remake in the 80"s also. I've never really been a fan of Lady Gaga, though I like a lot of her songs. She actually won me over when she starred in season 5 of "American Horror Story - Hotel" She was quite good, although I think the role really suited her. If you haven't seen AHS I highly recommend it. Well Ms. Rebecca, I hope you have a nice date night Nov. 7th!

The emotion is real in this song, Gaga left filming to be with her friend Sonja who had cancer because she got a call saying Sonja didn't have long, she died shortly before Gaga got there, Gaga went back to the studio and recorded this song after being encouraged to do so by Sonja's husband. You really need to see this film.

The voice that Bradley Cooper is doing in the movie isn't anything like his, he took months of vocal training to get the gravelly register & accent right. He also followed Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam around as he was the inspiration for this interpretation of the character. This movie is a remake of the classic 1937 film which has been remade four times, it was remade as a musical in 1954, then a rock musical in 1976 & now this one. I think the was also a foreign remake, India I think. Haven't seen this version yet.
@jeanblythe15954 жыл бұрын
Bradley Cooper based his character's voice on the voice of Sam Elliott, the actor who played his older brother in the film. Sam has one of the most recognizable, gorgeous deep voices ever. Bradley did a good job. But Sam can't really be duplicated.

Hello! It's the first time I've seen you and in a few hours I've watched your video as many times as you have no idea. First of all, the introduction you prepared made me cry with laughter. You are a comedian too ??? 😂 But the most important thing is the following, I have not allowed anyone to tell me something, I do not want to, I want to go alone to the cinema obviously without makeup and with a box of paper to be able to mourn as . I love your personality, your gestures are to die of laughter and your professionalism is the best of everything. I love music for as long as I can remember, it is my refuge for everything. I have studied it apart from my main profession. Music is magic and if it is linked to romance, well that is enough for me. Lady Gaga and Bradley I can’t imagine how they will act together, but with what little I saw, I think they will tear up and give goosebumps to the whole planet. I congratulate you, it is an immense pleasure to have found you. It shows that you are a very intense and very romantic woman.

I love your reviews! I have harbored a lifelong dream of being a singer...Unfortunately, I’m handicapped when it comes to singing and not in a way that inspires compassion from others but rather incredulous looks because it’s inconceivable that anyone could sing as badly as I do and not know it!! 😂🤣😂 Your reviews give a clear, colorful and creative yet concise description of certain notes, tones or techniques that I am learning and gaining a much greater understanding of the work and skill required to do it very well rather than building a long, successful career on raw talent alone and not having a foundation through training and experience to support that gift over the long haul as well as protect the instrument from injuries due to a lack of knowledge. It’s really quite fascinating to me! Also, you are adorably vivacious, fun and sooo entertaining! Your phrasing and descriptions are unique and creative yet oddly fit and your delivery is professional and knowledgeable without seeming condescending or superior at all! Your enthusiasm and emotional responses show your passion for music but also how deeply music speaks to your soul when done well! I appreciate your ability to critique, review, educate and show examples for comparison all while you retain your love of music as a fan like the rest of us! Thank you for sharing your gift, knowledge, experience and time with us to educate and entertain...while sharing our mutual passions for certain songs...(like almost ANYTHING from “A Star Is Born” soundtrack! 🥰) I look forward to watching sooo many more and learning sooo much more about the various reasons I am definitely NOT a singer and will never be! 😂🤣😂 I’m inching close to 55 years old. I think it’s fair to say that I have finally accepted that my personal talents and gifts as well as my fate definitely lies in another direction!! 😆😆😆 But the most passionate and rabid fans are frustrated wannabe-singers and musicians usually! LOL!! Best wishes for continued growth and success for you and your channel!

Rebecca Vocal Athlete Since you find Bradley Cooper’s speaking voice sooo “ludicrously beautiful” in this film, (and I TOTALLY agree! The reasonance of his voice settles into your chest so you viscerally experience it as well as hear it...forming an almost intimate connection with the viewer, I believe.), I would love to watch you review one of his solo recordings, although I don’t think those songs as a rule are as well written and as powerful lyrically as their duets and Gaga’s solo performances. Bradley had no professional vocal or musical training before the year he immersed himself into it for this film I think you would have some very interesting observations to share....and any time spent focusing singularly on Bradley Cooper is never a waste of time or emotion! 😁 I find him to be such a powerful presence in every film! Just his energy in a scene compels you to focus on him unconsciously and he is able to accomplish this without words and often without movement. He has that unidentifiable quality that sets a real STAR apart from all the other talented actors! And I think it’s innate to those truly gifted few who have adapted and are easy and relaxed when they perform and the adults present assigned to walk always despite constant traffic daily and I haven’t experienced anything and information under constant pressure, have both evolved and are sooo comfortable and confident within their own skin, open and welcoming to everyone they meet and together have obviously reached a fair compromise for myself and a couple friends hundred billion become very successful professionally and ar accepting without being overwhelmed by great power and control on certain projects, power, organizations and my efforts to retain a friend’s salon, retaining control of each person’s great inner strength and confidence that I think I may have operated under and could possibly do some unexpected roadside repairs and I have scheduled in the official Bonus an world most certainly be an instant classic year-round surrendering my post ASAP!

I haven't fallen in love with a stranger in many, many years. Thank you for revitalizing that experience. Your personality is pure awesomeness.
