I just discovered Fabian a few months ago and was completely gobsmacked. Completely. Her technique and the 1001 choices she makes are amazing, but I'm most impressed by the fact that every little thing she does is in service of the piece, the music & the words and she is never just "showing off" her (incredible!) Instrument. Great reaction. I learned a lot. Subscribed!

FeatherStep this is so true. She has trained with some amazing coaches and always taken her craft to the ultimate level of her talents. If you see her performances of her very early years, she had a voice but not the complete package. Within a few years, until this time of around year 2000, everything comes together as pure perfection!

Your comments are spot on, once again. To me Lara is an actor, a really good actor living in the moment something we all look for in a stage performance. She gives herself over to sense memory and so on. Lara is so technically confident she is able to connect directly with her inner life and is unafraid of sharing it with whomever. That to me is what makes her and someone like Dimash, Great singers - apart from the fact they're excellent musicians and vocalists. Is it any wonder that Lara has had such a dramatic impact on Dimash Kudaibergen who has obviously taken on her 'in the moment style', never once braking the emotional magnetic journey. This is story telling through music that never once lets up until her last breath utters that final note leaving her audience completely and utterly spent. This is Lara's trademark. I guarantee if you dive deeper it will be the greatest rabbit hole you ever go down! Two years ago was the first time I heard her, her song Je Suis Malade was used by skaters in the 2018 Olympics. I had to know who this amazing singer was, and she immediately became my favorite singer of all time.

Of course not, the dimash version is much better, although the harmonic is beautiful, it does not hit the note and is monotonous in its register. It just stays contemporary and doesn't take it to another level like dimash.

Hi Tina, I have suggestion next perform in the same show love with Lara her rendition of the song Je Suis Malade , and another song Italian Caruso if you may. Lara Fabian is not just a singer she is a great storyteller one of the most brilliant interpreters of the lyric we have ever had the power she conveys in her performance of every song is equal to her extraordinary vocal range. then what I love and this video reaction, in particular, is how you FANBOY Lara or FANGIRL you totally in love with her likewise I met Lara in close and yes she is the best loving compassionate and passionate person I ever met I am hoping to see her again she is a beautiful soul a grand artist and wonderful vocalist and amazing performer, she is worldwide recognized and she deserves more.

I think that soul of her's what makes Lara such a great artist - singer, performer, author, storyteller - I don't know what else in only one gorgeous person who has the talent to move our souls when we listen and watch her singing and moving in the scenery. Lara is a fabulous singer ! Lara speacks russian and she colaborates with Igor Krutoy many times ! The last colaboration was the excellent song Your love (Krutoy the composer, Lara the lyrics, Dimash the singer ! In fact Dimash is one of the big fans of Lara ! And this in also fabulous ! You must hear the trio: Lara Fabian, Aida Garifullina and Dimash Qudaibergen (his option or Kudaibergen the russian option) ! I wait for your reaction in 03.31.2020 !

Thank you, Tina. A very informative analysis. I would be interested in hearing your reaction to Lara singing “I guess I loved you”, solo with piano, from her Un Regard 9 concert 2006. Most reviewers seem to be “stuck” in her “ From Lara with Love” 2000 groove. Admittedly it was a fantastic concert, but so were later ones. She has developed a lot in 20 years, and I feel she got better as she matured between 2000 and 2010.

Hi firstly that was a great technical review! You also have a very good voice ( to be expected I suppose) and would love to hear you sing that song in duet with her! I only discovered Lara Fabian a couple of weeks ago and am absolutely blown away by her voice and stage presence. I have the same opinion as many on You Tube and that is she probably has the best voice in the world! I love her and am possibly a bit ‘in love’ with her lol!! If you have not seen her live concerts, please, check them out... especially En Toute Intimité 2003 and Un Regard 9 2006. Also her Moscow concerts 2012 and 2014. Her performances in En Toute Inimité are amazing. check out Comme Ils Disent, Callin' you, and Medley from Starmania. I hope you love them!

Can you guys, the crazy fan of Dimash, stop comment something like "have you seen Dimash version ? you will be more shook", if you guys respect the original artist (like Lara), please stop landing the Dimash name everywhere, just like he did the better version, but did he ???
