Ciao my 💜Beautiful People💜 *THUMBS UP* 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 because I did it.. after 12 hours of struggling with copyright issues that blocked me the video 7 times I finally can say that my first video of my muse Miss Mariah it's on line!!! 8.457 AM in Italy I didn't sleep all night long to edit the video till I was able to upload it! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 COPYRIGHT ISSUES are not stopping me.. even Art 17 / 13 of the European Government will not stop me with his censorship.. I had to do many cuts and less music, lower quality of the sound which is unfair ( 8 hours of previous editing to do a great audio/video job..and then I had to cut the songs) 😱😱😱... Now KZbin catch you even for 15 seconds of song.. especially very famous songs.. Original video was 25 minutes long now should be less than 20 minutes.. sorry about that 😂 I need your support please watch the video a leave a *thumbs up* for my devotion and sleepless nights! I feel so lucky to be born in the era of Mariah, Celine and Whitney trinity. Mariah's prime was out of this world and despite her problems with voice, ups and downs, she's still doing great till this day. I am sitting listening to her amazed again. Makes me angry when some younglings (teenagers and yearly 20's people) have no respect (and knowledge) and say that she's a poor singer just because they didn't get to see her on TV in her prime (or they saw some bad moments exposed by haters). I'm happy to be old enough to remember. Please open youtube and do your homework by watching those classic performances! Mariah is undisputed legend, vocal and songwriting. She inspires singers all over the world for decades (!) now, as crazy as it sounds. I also admire that she writes her own music and has all time great record selling numbers. One thing people forget about is that she has nodules & on some days it’s safe for her to lip sync instead. Essentially, it’s all her voice!

@Ayub Said, what are nodules exactly? Bumps that come and go when you're sick? Does it make it hard to sound good because of the way the air flows around them? How long does it take for them to go away? Sorry for all the questions, I'm a non-singer, and just curious. Thank you!

Bliss Boo now I can’t give you an actual scientific definition, but on the grounds of what I’ve watched it definitely makes it harder for her to sing a catalogue of songs let alone her own. It causes vocal fatigues that on some days she shouldn’t even be speaking. Unfortunately, it doesn’t go away, however, Mariah has found an approach and techniques to sing around them. The vocal range isn’t there everyday and, overusing and overpushing it will ultimately result to damage on the vocals. Which is why relaxation and home remedies are required but due to her scheduling you can see why singing her songs on the range that they are back to back every night can seem difficult and lip syncing it could be the easier solution. I hope 🤞 I was helpful but I’d recommend watching videos on them, she even herself has explained about her voice.

Bliss Boo Mariah was born with vocal nodules, which gives her unique privilege to sing whistle notes(Mariah can’t close her vocal chords completely due to the nodules and whistle notes requires exactly that. However, usually singers are required to sing with closed vocal chords, which makes it extremely hard to sing whistle notes). Meanwhile, Mariah can’t sing operatic songs because of the nodules(required closed vocal chords). Through her early years, 90s-00s, the nodules have been growing and severely affected Mariah’s airflow during her performances due to high-intensity tour and her drinking and depression issue.

I was a teenager when I first heard "Vision of Love". I was completely and utterly blown away. Bottom jaw on the floor blown away. I'd never heard any singing voice like that before. I didn't even know what a "whistle" register was. To me it was dolphin speak, lol. I went out and bought the (don't laugh, cassette) immediately! I'm not a huge Mariah fan (not due to her voice, her genre isn't always my cup of tea), but I like her, to this day I still love that song the best. It does make me sad that she's an alcoholic and destroying her voice. Same with Whitney. Not Mariah (I think?), but I'll NEVER understand why some singers smoke. It blows my mind. This is a delicate instrument we're talking about and your livelihood. I don't get it. Her addictions tell me that no matter how famous, rich, etc, you are you can still not be happy and dare I say it, self-sabotaging. I'm sure the business is back-breaking, and all the disgusting things that they're exposed to or have to do internally break them. Of course, they're human too. The addictions must be what temporarily keep them afloat. I wish she'd go to intensive rehab and face her ghosts. Sorry, didn't mean to go off on a dark tangent, its just so sad watching the best fall apart either nearly or actually killing themselves. On a happier note, your entire "lewk" is gorgeous! I'm loving the hair, your jewelry, your kind, classy, and gentle demeanor. I'm new to this channel and enjoying the way you analyze, explain how methods of singing are achieved (or not). Basically "keeping it real" from a singer's point-of-view. Being that I'm a non-singer, it helps me understand the intricacies better. I never realized how hard it is to sing! I just figured these people were "born with it" and over the years and with practice mature their voice. Well, obviously that too, but I didn't know that people can have an okay voice, but train it to be even better. Keep up the great work! Thank you! p.s. no way... whistle register is not the problem... she over used her voice all around the world in the 90's she was like a Ferrari pushing always one highest speed and after thousands of km during the years will run differently because there are new roads, weather, drivers... what I mean is that all voices have changes and rest is very important. After Luis Miguel her heart was broke and she probably changed lifestyle till now. She is in charge to preserve her voice and sometimes she didn't paid attention at it because she was lost or alone. It's life.. her belting is different I know but still amazing compared to all pop stars around nowadays. She is more technical than emotional sometimes and she writes her songs in a different range trying to keep her style. Anyway she writes a huge part of the pop music history like Michael Jackson!
