Personally, as a German, they make me cringe sooo hard to the point where I can't watch any of their scenes. 😂 Because your accent doesn't usually carry over THAT strongly into singing.

I'd love to see you react to Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist. Stars Jane Levy, Skylar Astin (who of course is in the pitch perfect movies and you praised his voice), Alex Newell (who you have reviewed before), and a whole bunch of other great vocalists (Bernadette Peters appears in a handful of episodes and kills it) and even some surprising people who you wouldn't expect in a musical series, Mary Steenburgen, Lauren Graham (ever wanted to hear Loreli from Gillmore Girls belt out I can't get no satisfaction and Katy Perry's Roar, well you can in this show, episode 3). Every episode has between 5 and 9 musical performances in it, sometimes with some rather impressive choreography. If you want to do particular songs I'd suggest Help, Lean on Me, True Colors, and especially Fight Song from Episode 9 (Zoey's Extraordinary Silence). If you want to go for a whole episode, go for the pilot, it has a whopping 12 songs in it (though some are short stingers), it sets up the premise pretty well and after that you can listen to any other performance and understand enough of the context.

I love how you react to so many different things, especially things that I love. One thing that really bothered me throughout this movie was the fact that the German group was called "Das Sound Machine" which is not only grammatically incorrect but also would never be a name that a German group would use, I think. I personally really love the second movie and it’s honestly my favorite. Although, it has been a minute since I’ve seen all three movies so that could change now. Still, I really love it. It could just be my bias because I was super obsessed with the franchise and it’s still one of my favorite movie series of all time. Also bechloe is one of my favorite ships too. You should definitely watch the third movie because it’s honestly just a fun project for the fans. Like they said fuck it and just made a movie that was absolutely bonkers and silly and I loved every moment of it. I would say that the third movie probably has my favorite soundtrack

It's kind of interesting that to a lot of Americans, it's hard to tell British, Australian, and New Zealand accents apart, but the people from those countries can hear the different accents clear as day. But on the flip side, it's the same for a lot of them they just hear an American accent. They don't hear Midwestern, Southwest, Southerner, Brooklyn, or Boston accents the way we do. And that's pretty much the same for any language demographic. When you're outside that demographic, you just hear and are trying to understand the language. When you're within demographic, you hear those finer details like accent and style. Just an interesting linguistic phenomenon.
