Rise is so criminaly underated like how. The music video screams production. The lyrics are so deep and emotional and the song has so many great covers. A shame that Katy performed it only I think 2 times live.

scott and mario [the goatee guy] sing 'lost on you' to a hans zimmer theme. it is an outstanding performance. both of them singing full out. i enjoy your analysis of pentatonix/superfruit. it helps me find words for what i'm hearing and enjoy the music and learn about technique and skill.

This performance is something I often go back to when I need to feel empowered. I love Superfruit and Mary Lambert (the other guys are brilliant, but I only know them from this song), and I'd wish they'd both do more music. The guys force you to stop and listen, and then Mary joins the choir with such kindness and comfort in her voice. This is the perfect group to sing these words, we will rise. 🌈
