Those of us who know Sami Yusuf know that he is a musical genius. It is simply amazing how Sami has the ability to compose and arrange pieces as legendary as this, without forgetting that he is also a multi-instrumentalist. Sami plays instruments such as the piano, the daf, the santur, the oud, the tombak, the tar, among others. In short, Sami Yusuf is a very talented musician with a super brilliant mind and who also knows how to express himself very well.

Sami Yusuf's music deserves to become viral because is pure art. He is a genius composer, he uses a lot of mystical Islamic poetry, he chooses brilliantly those who sing with him. I love so much his music because in his performances it's not about him, it's about the song, the spiritual messages. I'm not even from Middle East or Muslim, but to me his music is a masterpiece.

Hey! I enjoyed your reaction to this composition. Sami deserves more attention than he has. I'm a fan of his since the first release in 2003. He's a wonderful composer mixing between western and eastern music with his spiritual touch on it. You also asked about the language of choir singing, it's French ;) I went through your previous videos. Your works are wonderful, I'm a new subscriber!

15:05 these are: Oud (on the left) Originally it is an Arabian instrument which classified as a Medieval Islamic Oud that have been used in the Arabian Middle East, and reached Persia (Iran) after Muslim conquest, and then other regions and countries such as Turkey and Balkan regions in which they developed their own version of Oud. and it is similar to other types of Lute, the western Lutes which developed out of the Medieval Islamic Oud. (on the right) Qanun or Kanoon ( the name derives from Ancient Greek meaning rule or law, norm, principle) it is also an Arabian, specifically a Middle Eastern string Instrument played in much of Arab East, Iran, and Arab Maghreb region of North Africa (Morocco), later it reached West Africa, Central Asia due to Arab migration.

Here's an example kzbin.info/aero/RDgh7Sjm3OvGk&playnext=1&si=WX0AfwjUhlgLEru- And also a category of Jews appreciate this music since they also were in Andalus

The eastern music is more spiritual than western it has a message for the humanity in general on the other hand the people living in West used to listen the music that entertain them for some time on the contrary our music and lyrics last for ever you people living in West are living an artificial life and we live an organic life our music is quite soothing and posses good message for the human beings
