I am the honest vocal coach! I have been teaching for 15 years and been singing since I was 16. I teach from my own studio and also teach and mentor via email, and online via Live & Skype. Selena writes her own songs too. Don’t trust everything, what u see on internet. Because Julia Michaels said that Selena is very good song writer and more than half of her songs she wrote. Also when haters said that Selena doesn’t wrote Feel Me but one of people, which wrote that song w her said that Gomez wrote all song but they changed some part.

Yes, she still tends to go pitchy, shaky and unstable at some of her notes (lmao all her Ready For It high notes are hideous), and she doesn't have like, you know, an actual *technique* . But, she has improved over the years for sure. Better breath control, better pitch (only suffers the issue sometimes up 'till recently), better control of her growling, and expanded her range! She's phrasing C3s and sustaining multiple E5s now. Selena has a beautiful tone, beautiful falsetto/HV range and her lows sound quite good. But Taylor Swift... is the MVP in this vocal battle.
