I personally think this breathy singing suits him better (he probably feels better to sing this way) plus this way he expresses an emotional meaning of the song much more intensively and also I sense it much more this way as a listener so it worked if it was meant to be this way, he obviously likes to do it this way too, he is very sensitive and sensual character so it all blends with him very naturally, but I get your point of view as well

Imo the powerful singing suits him better... because has a strong voice and in this breathy way of singing it seems faint over a long term... his deep voice allows him to have a strong presence but its gentle to the ears... I personally love his voice in Dna and Boy with luv because it is still soft but he still got presence there

Min Amelie hmm yes naturally powerful singing suits to everyone, anyway when you listen to Tae´s singing low deep breathy tones he sounds absolutely effortless (live too), Tae does not need to even try and he also speaks this way. DNA and Boy with Luv are different kind of songs - energetic and cheered up. Scenery is calm and emotional song with so much passion throughout the lyrics, the singer adapted his voice mood to the song so it deepens the effect for the listener. Adam who reacted agreed with that and also complimented Tae and his amazing voice. I think Adam just indicated about his personal preference towards the end of the song which is absolutely fine.

Thank you for appreciating Taehyung amazing singing n beautiful lyrics! He wrote this song as a dedication to all Fans/Army who have supported BTS through their struggles, hardships, criticisms, prejuduce, etc. all these years even till this day. He wanted to capture these sweet memories in his mind like taking photos which you can hear the camera shutters in the song. His voice is rich, unique and versatile with a wide range. People who are not familiar with him won't expect this. A song need not always have to build up to a climax as it's otherwise here.

The first time I heard this song I felt the way you did, as if the entire song was teasing a "grand finale", an explosive climax and it had left me waiting for it... However, I feel different about the arangement now. The 4th or 5th time I listened to this song... It was a chilli early morning (late autumn here), I went to buy bread to one of the bakeries near my house, and the part when he sings "Ah ah ah ah ah ah"... That part gave me chills. Overall, I had the feeling that the song wants you to stay in a "secluded emotion, an isolated wishful state", as if you aren't supposed to feel satisfied in the way you feel satisfied after finishing a task or reaching a goal, because it's a song about "wishing"... He's daydreaming about what things (stories) he has yet to experience in the future. Whether this arrangement was the best/most pleasant to the ear or not, I find it interesting and a very deliberate choice. I think this is how he (the writer) truly feels. This song makes me imagine having a conversation with a close friend when you're eating breakfast in the caffeteria, one of those intimate conversations when you wisper to tell each other a secret or a dream or something vulnerable. That moment when you confess you did something wrong or ask advise about a conflict you're having at home or tell them about a new opportunity you were recently offered with... It may be something you haven't told many people, something big, but you still wisper it or get closer over the table so people in the next table won't hear it. The words you're sharing may be important to you, saying them may bring some relief/lift weight from your shoulders, yet you don't speak them loudly. Something like that.

I've never noticed it before (didn't even know there is such thing), but ever since I've heard about it, I can hear it in so many of their songs. Personally, he did amazing. His breathy voice made it softer and warmer. Like it came from the heart, and I know it did. He really does try hard to keep a voice that can comfort us in our toughest times and when I needed him the most, this song came out and hearing it helped me, it felt like he was sending love and light my way. which is exactly what he tries to do for us, he has a beautiful and soulful voice, is he able to just go from WAY DOWN LOW to UP HIGH no, maybe not as easily as others, but he still is a body full of talent, his singing plays a big part in BTS they all do.

I really love this song because it is a step away from how he sings most times. He composed the song and I feel like this was him getting to try out a different style from how he usually sings. I think he meant for the song to be soft. Setting up more of a mood and a scene in your mind as he takes you on a journey about nature, which is what he loves and is singing about. I feel like he meant for his voice to be softer than it normally would be so that it is almost like a very light breeze as you walk through a forest.

I just wanna say that no matter what, I'm proud of him, of that farmer who was scouted only for his good looks, but ended up being a singer, dancer, actor, now a composer and producer. Glad he didn't go for the route where he would need to hit those high notes bec it's going to sound like a usual pop song which is pretty cliché. His voice served as a bass to the notes of the piano and the background sounds (the wind, camera sounds) helped paint a "scenery". :)

One producer said he didn't reach where he wanted to go so the song didn't climax. V does things with his music that's not normal. Taehyung has a very controlled voice and he can manage his breath (he can hold his breath underwater for 5 min if I remember correctly but for sure it was more than 3 which makes it so easy for him) and the song is in that vibe kinda type so it really doesn't need a high point and he isn't forcing his voice. I disagreed when you said the ending chorus should build. The song is very much like an affectionate lullaby for the ARMYs. A lullaby where he very intimately confesses his love for us, his desires, and his fear of losing us. So with that in mind.... wouldn't the best approach be to keep his vocals gentle, shy, and somewhat insecure? I think the softness in his voice makes the song very consistently honest and personal for Taehyung, which is what makes it most beautiful. He's not trying to show off how great of a singer he is. He's using the song to convey his sincerest feelings through the composition, the lyrics, and especially through his voice. Personally, I wouldn't change a thing about it. 😊

You're misunderstanding what he meant. He knows nothing about them as people, he's only focused on the music. He meant it could strain his voice if he spoke in a completely different register than what he was singing in. This is in Taehyung's range because his normal speaking voice is in this tone. He doesn't have that knowledge.

But jimin doesn't really sing on that live performance tho, shouldn't he just react to one of the lyrics videos instead to get a better listen. Jimin focused more on the dancing and although he did sing some parts it wasn't too many that you can really notice

I personally like it this way. It has just enough of a climax that allows for me to breathe but also feel that release in the song (lol that sounded a but weird). But I totally get what you were saying about a bigger climax and him going into like a chest voice or something-that would’ve been so cool!

I would recommend to check out member called jungkook! you noticed him in the boy with luv snl reaction video! he’s very stable while dancing and he has a lots of covers that maybe you could do a reaction video to some of them! also he was is the program called ,,The king of the masked singer’’ i believe and sang song called ,,If you’’ he was super great!

I like the song without climax as it is, it's supposed to be calm. It sounds special this way, not what we are used to. Somehow people are used to think that great songs are necessarily those with a climax. This song taught me to broader my perspective. V painted a scenery and it's a calm scenery. Listeners are supposed to dive into that calm space.
