I'm so happy you reacted to Yuuri, I really wanted to see your reaction to his vocal, when I first found him it was on Betelgeuse and since then I have listen to all his song and I love it his vocal and story telling is amazing. I think he is one of my favourite music artist that I listen to. I would love to see more first take of Dry Flower, Leo, Betelgeuse and slowly go through his other works. Thank you for your Yuuri reaction ❤ there is another of his song that I really like. Please take a look sometimes if you have the chance to. It is called “Kagome” (かごめ). Yuuri himself had it sung acoustically in his youtube channel, you can look it up. For me, it is his most emotionally charged performance I’ve ever seen and always leave me reeling from too much feelings 😊

Thank you so much for this video! Yuuri truly is amazing in putting all his grit and emotion into his singing. I believe his most well-known songs are Dry Flower and Betelgeuse, so I reccommend checking them out as well! If you want a more heart-wrenching one, I reccommend Leo (which is dedicated to a pet).

Just for context, in the beginning when Yuuri said he wrote the song for a friend, Yuuri wrote Shutter but it was originally released by his friend (You can search SHUTTER JUN MIYASAKA). This was because before they were having an argument whether Yuuri is famous for his voice or because of the song and lyrics and the friend said "it's because of the song" so Yuuri challenged his friend to release a song that he will write and they'll see whether it will be a hit or not. The lyrics is about his friend's relationship. It is named shutter because his friend likes Cameras and taking pictures so the lyrics were adapted to that. After a few months, Yuuri then released his own version.

Its a bit late to comment this, but the girl in the video is so accurate, he does like Ed Sheeran, he used to sing some of his song on the street and in his videos. From his video he said he admire artists like Bon Jovi and Ed.

I don't think this is even his best one. Betelgeuse is better IMO, and also Leo (this is a song from a dogs perspective, and it won't make sense if you don't know this beforehand). You should definitely check more of his first takes.
