Taeyang..... what a performer. You can't overpraise him. He is the gold standard. I've seen him live 3 times this year. So so good. This performance btw is his comeback TV live performance after a 6 year hiatus- with a new album, Down To Earth. I think he's easing back into the industry. He as part of the group BigBang, were huge btw 2006- 2017. Which they then went into compulsory military service and came out of service just before Covid hit. They kicked open the door for K-pop to go global back then. But my God he's so talented. Love him. Check out BigBang live performance (Bangkok Tour Report) - If You. CLASS.

I love hearing your reactions to Taeyang's singing and performance. As the main vocalist and main dancer of his group Bigbang, he is quite the perfectionist who is known for his great work ethics and active participation in every aspect of his stage. Please continue reacting to his music videos and live performances. He recently released his Down to Earth mini album consisting of 6 songs.

Taeyang and his group members are all touched with obsession I think. In early training Taeyang's agency had a self-taught training. There were also vocal coaches available. They taught them expression etc. as well, and they were supported by their seniors. Taeyang has a masters degree in Producing Performances and Images. His master's thesis was so good, it is held in and available on-line at the National Library of Korea. He is usually very hands on in everything to do with his performance and does have a great team.

Taeyang trained for 6 years before debuting. And he still took vocal lessons for many years. Of course, I think he's very talented, and I love his voice. I'm curious about how his voice changes over time. Thanks for reacting.

Nope... I don't understand it (( Korean singers usually have great voices and great technique, but this manner of "baby voice" singing reminds of boys bands from the 90's... All the same. I trust Rozette's opinion, but still don't understand it. Don't get me wrong, I do love Korean music, but I prefer singers with very distinctive, very individual voices singing memorable songs. Kim Feel, 한 HAN, Meego, Dear Cloud, Nerd Connection etc.

Taeyang definitely has a distinctive voice of his own and iconic. Also has improve his technique over the YEARS of being in the industry. So call “baby voice” statement is just reachin’ and it shows.🤷🏻‍♂️

@@xoxlove6101 I've tried. It's still "baby voice" for my ears, I've heard enough of it when Backstreet Boys were on the top some 15 years ago. I agree that Taeyang has great vocal technique, but that's all for me. As I said, I just don't understand it. I mean, the whole phenomenon: why pop-music is so popular )) It's so commercial, it's crazy obvious. I've mentioned my preferences in Korean music, let's agree that we just have different taste.

Because there is no way in he'll something can listen to taeyang voice and go "baby voice sounds like 90 boy band", you are either lying that you have listened to his music or something is VERY wrong with your hearing

They have official fanclub in Korea so the audience was probably selected from members . Is a kind of a gift for long time fans. Taeyang has return after 6 years hiatus so it was a long wait . He really has a great passion for music and is also very profesional. Whatever the place or the size of the audience he will never drop in quality . With him is not just training is also experience . 17 years , concerts on sun , rain , technical problems , medical issues , he can handle anything . He feels home on stage . This is his life . He loves what he is doing , he loves to sing , dance , is not just a job and after all these years is as natural as breathing .
