This is why African Americans who attend HBCU institutions like Oakwood University, especially if they if it is a Christian institution do so well like Take, Special Blend, Virtue, Wintley Phipps, the Aeolians, First SDA Church of Huntsville, AL Inspirational Choir, Voices of Inspiration, being apart of Gospel Choir or group is like being apart of a musical family where you can just be your self. Stevie Mackey is what it was like grewing up Adventist for my brother's generation and younger. Lord bless my brother DJ Klyph of Portland and Sandy Radio station to be the best lead Christina musical artist he can be, because like Stevie Mackey he loves music, but only what you do for Christ not the world will last. Lord this prayer request is for my brother Clifford Mack the DJ to be his best for Christ in his lifetime, amen!

Nice helping someone other than himself. I have always liked to talk and speak when I am with people I know, but I never realized I was one of the lead singers in the churches I grew up at in First SDA Church of Teaneck and Engleowood Community Church in Englewood New Jersey, and working all of suddenly became more important than going to choir, and I have been so busy trying to complete my education and become a mature, it is as if I can not even hit a note. I miss singing with the young people I grew up with who have gone on with their lives. Be-careful Stevie because only what you do for Christ will last, I thank God that most Christian Seventh Day Adventists grew up speaking and singing in church if not doing both, which has given them the ability to be who they are today.
